Parisi's Sewing Machine

I brought in a sewing machine I bought online. He was upfront and very honest. It was plastic and cheap (all the newer ones are!!) He told me he'd look at it and if it was worth a certain amount of money, he'd fix it...otherwise, he'd call me to come and fetch it! He actually got it running but it wasn't worth it, so he found me an older, better one that I was able to purchase from him. I recommend him so very highly!!

This sewing repair shop is a hidden gem for anyone who sews. He knows his machines and values keeping the old ones running! I'd never had my machine serviced in all the time I've owned it, and he said it's ready to run for another 60 years. He was even customizing a sewing machine for someone to be able to hand crank on a boat out at sea for sail repair!

I called up to get directions and confirms hours of operation. Prior to contacting this provider I had contacted the manufacturer's repair service and was quoted a much higher price as well several weeks before the repair could be done. The owner answered the phone in a friendly, reassuring voice. He quoted a price and stated that the repair, cleaning, and tune-up could be done in about one hour. When I arrived, the owner did not try to sell me a more expensive item, but remarked what a good machine it was and how well it was constructed. 30 minutes later, my machine was fixed, an explanation was given as to what caused the problem. Additionally, he demonstrated how all the stitching was just as if I had a brand new machine. He said that this servicing would last for years and recommended that I only use metal bobbins. I was very pleased, and happy that I did not have to buy a new machine that might have new technology, but made of less sturdy material. I would highly use this company again and without hesitation recommend them

He was great. It was a very small operation and he was somebody who was very accessible. He said just drop it here and he would look at it. He knew his stuff. He had this basement place where he settled with sewing machines and he was able to do it in a really short amount of time. He was very enthusiastic about what he did. It was perfect. I don't use the machine which was one of the problems with the machine, it was given to me and after many years I pulled it out of the attic and it wasn't useable. He did explain to me that lack of use is a problem with sewing machines apparently. He did a demonstration and it seems to be working beautifully.

Easy to find in center of town. Called up and said what I needed. Had old sewing machine that neede a tune up and possible repairs. Got directions given, brought machine up to business. Easy to find in center of town. Easy to park and unload. Mr. Parisi is honest real deal long time professional. Fixes and sells all kinds of machines in old shop in warehouse building. Got it done in a couple days and that was that. Very reasonable, no frills and no B.S. Has a nice dog with him
