MORIARTY and GORDON has an impressive selection; don't let the exterior fool you. I stopped at another reputable flooring company in the area and felt like I had a fairly negative experience. As a "younger" man I was continually steered towards the remnants selection in the back and away from the good stuff in the front... I am all for bargains but needless to say once I didn't see anything I liked back there was given the cold shoulder. Off to Moriarty and Gordon I went...what a difference. The salesman working (I believe he's more or less in charge) led me towards exactly what I was looking for, and presented a few similar ones representing different price points. He was very thorough on explaining the pros-cons of each options and upfront on the price. After taking a few samples and making a decision, they scheduled a time to measure my rooms. Additional rooms were measured for future reference saving a second trip although only one room was being done at this time. Soon enough the product arrived and was installed--extremely professional installation. No rush, and no corners cut. Thoroughly satisfied with the result. The price was more than I would have ideally paid, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended; I will be hiring them to complete more rooms soon.

Moriarty and Gordon had a very good selection of carpet and tile, and the salesman was very knowledgeable and patient. (carpet and tile selection takes a lot of time). The tile was installed first, and the young men who installed it were extremely competent and did a wonderful job. Next was the carpet installation, and again, the installer was extremely skilled and experienced, and the final result was beautiful. All of the men were very professional, did a great job, and left no mess behind. My husband and I were very impressed by all of the Moriarty and Gordon associates with whom we dealt and recommend them highly.
