I am taking legal action against this company. They left us with a severe pool leak that he pretended to fix (BTW he told me to put the light back in myself the first time I went in the pool! Knowing there was extreme damage in the housing) He also told us "You'll never get anyone to fix this because they are all busy! Imagine doing that to a customer and leaving us hanging at the beginning of summer? Can you imagine someone doing that to his mother? Very bad! Always in a hurry and just leaves you hanging with problems they couldn't solve!

I chose this provider because previous reviews indicated that he was patient and clearly explained the running of a pool. I just bought a house with a pool and needed instruction on how to keep it running. I said this on the phone when I made the appointment and when he came to open the pool. The pool was opened, the filters cleaned and some chemicals added on day one. On day two they came back to check and do some adjustments. On day 3 the pump was running but there was no flow into the pool. It took them a week to come back and fix it. They came, fixed it and left, without telling me what was wrong or what I was supposed to do. There was a light flashing and I was told that it sometimes flashes and it doesn't mean anything. Well, it meant that a cell needed to be cleaned. He also gave me wrong information on the volume of the pool and for this reason I added the wrong amount of chemicals. Three weeks after and quot;openingand quot; the pool, I am still not able to use it.

I called several pool repair companies and I found Kelsey's not only to be the most responsive, but most reasonably priced. Rick, the owner, is a great guy and knows pools inside and out. My pool was losing water and he helped by expediting the order on the liner and installing within 2 weeks! He fixed the drain that was the cause of the leak and dealt with a high groundwater table during the install which did not look like a ton of fun. He installed a new light and then also winterized it installed the cover. Although this has been my only interaction with him, it is easy to tell that Rick is a very trustworthy guy and speaks the truth. I will definitely be calling them back in the spring to open my pool and see the new liner! :-)

I called Kelsey’s Pools along with 3 other pool maintenance companies when I realized that I needed to have my pool drain repaired and put in a new liner. Rick, the owner, was by far the most responsive, knowledgeable and the lowest cost. He was able to accommodate a quick appointment and have the liner ordered and installed in 2 weeks. This was extremely important because I was losing water costing me about $30/day from the drain leak. The other pool companies estimated needing 3-4 weeks to begin the install and their base price was more expensive.

I was so pleased with both his service and price, I had him complete the pool closing and install a new cover. This is the first time I have used them and I found Rick to be very professional, trustworthy and personable. I will most definitely be using Kelsey’s for my pool opening and closings and other needs in the future.

Very good, professional, courteous and informative. As a new owner of a house with a pool, he took time to instruct and answer questions while he worked. His price beat out three other estimates. I will definitely recommend Kelsey Pool service again.

I called Kelsey Pool service on a Monday and received a call back the very next morning. They promptly made a service call to my residence (while I was working - very convenient) and replaced the filter/valve assembly within two hours. My pool was back in tip top shape and all I had to do was make one call to discuss what needed to be done. Prior to calling Kelsey I had put out two calls and two emails to other pool services and never received one reply. I would highly recommend Kelsey Pool Service to anyone in their service area!

I called for a quote to close my pool last fall. Kelsey pool offered me the same price for closing as opening, $275. They said they would be able to pick up my pump in December and fix it and return it prior to opening in the spring. They closed the pool. They overcharged us for the closing. I called and reminded them of the quote they gave us, they agreed, and we paid them the quoted amount immediately. I did not hear anything in December about picking up our pump so I called them. They said they would do it in Jan or Feb. When no one showed up or called in feb I called again, and they said they would be out in the next couple of weeks to pickup the pump. No one showed up or called in the next few weeks and now I had to call to try to schedule the opening for May. They said they would be coming out the day I called, or the next day and that I was "on the list". I set a date for the opening. No one showed up in the week between the call and the scheduled date of the pool opening so I called the day before the opening and asked them about the pump. He said he would pick it up and/or fix it on site the day they came to open the pool. I also reminded them of the quoted $275 price to open the pool. They said fine. They came the next day, opened the pool, and left two big piles of leaves on our pool deck. I called them that afternoon to ask about the leaves, and to ask about the pump fix, the heater, and some other questions. I did not hear back for 2 days, when I got a bill in my mailbox (still no call). They billed me $300 for the closing(!); $70 for removing the leaves from the cover (a task they did not quote us for or tell us would be a charge item; and they did not remove the leaves but left them on my deck); plus for the pump repair which was authorized and within quote. I called them about the overcharges and left another message, a day later I got a call. Rick explained that they usually charge two hours for leaf removal. I said if they had told us this in the quote we would have expected it. He agreed, again to change the pool closing charge to the originally agreed upon $275 and to cut the charge for the leaves in half. We offered to have him come by to pickup a check right away or we could mail it; he said either way was good; but then called me an hour or so later and said he was coming by "right now" and could we put a check in the mailbox. That night I was checking the pool and heard running water. I discovered that when they opened the pool three days before they had not replaced the drain plug but instead had installed an output spout on the pool drainage port so that my pool had been leaking large amounts of water for three days. We had been told to "top off the pool with our hose" and so our paid for town water had been running for three days and barely keeping up with the leak they had caused! I called right away, no call back. We discovered we overpaid them and left another mess. We have heard nothing.

He was here for 1/2 an hour. My vacuum wasn't working at the time so I called them and they came right out. They didn't stick to the price they quoted. He came out right away though and came out around the 4th of July.
