I did my own central vacuum installation in my previous house...I just bought the materials from JG Manzi. I thought I did a nice job. For this new house, I let the company do the work. They estimated three days of work. Since I start work later in the morning, I was home for part of each day, and could talk with the installer, named Reno. He was great! He had instant insight into the best ways to run the pipes, and with perfect rationale (I asked a lot of questions). I was ultimately at ease that he would do a good job. After the work was all done, I had a chance to closely inspect all the piping...I was very impressed. The turns and joints were very precise, while still avoiding any sharp 90-degree bends that could impair the flow. I was amazed at how unobtrusive the final result was. It made my piping job look amateurish. And it would have taken me a week to do the same amount of work. I am very satisfied. I think the materials were pricey, but the work was great.
