They did a good job. They're very efficient, accommodating in terms of addressing additional area and work i needed done. They did the work very quickly. They cleaned up after themselves well. They did't disrupt things too much.

The painters were like having Michelangelo in your kitchen. They were great. Everything came out perfectly. They used highly quality materials. They didn't leave a drop of anything on the floor. Everything was cleaned up and they were quiet. They were very professional and came quickly when they were suppose to. They finished the work in a day and a half. I have referred them to neighbors.

Unbelievably well! FIve Star Painting showed up on time with a professional , courteous crew ! They did A plus work painting, worked right along and cleaned up . My house looks amazing! Steve and his crew were punctual, professional and experienced. The house was painted before a very hard winter, and they came back the following summer and scraped and repainted trouble spots at no charge.

They charged me 20% more than the price that was initially agreed on.Two years later, the paint is already peeling. I called the guy, and asked about the warranty.
His response was "we did not sand those portions where it is peeling, so it's not my fault". He could not offer any explanation as to WHY they did not sand those portions, that obviously needed to be sanded, other than "we have a great success rate, it usually works".
Don't use this fraud. Find an actual real PRO.

"I appreciate the opportunity to respond to this review. We continuously work to provide quality products and service even after the project is complete. Upon hearing from the customer that there was peeling paint, I scheduled a site visit and met with Ms. T. During my site visit I observed that the new peeling was only occurring on areas that where sound when the painting was done three years ago, not two as stated by the customer. In other words, the areas which were sanded were now sound, and no peeling was visible Wood that has been exposed to severe weathering during its life loses the lignum tissue which binds the wood fibers together. When this occurs, the outer, most weathered layer, releases or sheds, like dead skin. When this occurs, is dependent on many variables, such as how long the exposure occurred, was any remedial action taken, what products where applied and when. This was not a product or workmanship failure. I am always willing to work with a customer, even after the industry warranty standard, of two years. I called Mr. T. to explain the cause of the peeling, and he quickly dismissed me, and his tone and tenor was very similar to his review. I found it difficult to have a mutually respectful conversation with him. I'm sorry and disappointed that we have an unhappy customer. We are always willing to go the extra step to satisfy our clients, but we were unable to do so in this instance."

Painted walls, ceilings and woodwork in three rooms. Arrived on time and worked until they completed the job. They did a nice job, were friendly and knowledgeable. They also gave me any paint that was left over.

It went very well. Trellis over deck had extensive decay. FSP identified all sections needing replacement, replaced them without damaging the overhead grapevines, and stained all timbers to match original appearance. Looks better than ever and is definitely sturdier than when first built.

The painters arrived with Steve, the owner, and he took them through and explained what had to be done. The quote on the job was $800, but when the painters finished sooner than expected, the price was reduced to $600! I was very happy with the work done as well as the price.

Five Star was not the cheapest bid, but they did spend the most amount of time measuring and discussing the job ahead of the quote. The job was completed on-time, within the discussed budget, and they were able to do the job while we were away on vacation. Overall it looks good and we plan on hiring them again in the future.

Steve from Five Star Painting was very nice to work with. He was prompt, friendly and professional. He responded to my initial inquiry immediately, came out to check out the job within a few days and I had the estimate that evening. He was able to do just the repairs and painting that I required. He didn't try to sell me on a larger job or say this was too small to bother, like I've heard from other contractors. Once I hired him, the work was completed very quickly, even sooner than he had estimated. It was very easy to work with this company and they did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

My husband and I decided to refresh our house with painting and new woodwork for the downstair bathroom, formal living room and dining room. We were so delighted and very satisfied with their job that asked Five Star Painting to also paint the stairs and upstair hallway and repair and paint the exterior wood trim of our home. Everything came to the same price as their estimates.

The experience went fine. They generally did a good job. The crew needs to be managed. If they leave the crew alone, they do some things that aren't so good; but generally, the experience was quite good. We can recommend others that they can expect a good service. It is a good company and we were pleased.
