It's a great place to get a non professional student to do yard work. They do a decent job - the workers I had show up I felt like I had to guide and supervise them but that's just fine. Very reasonably priced.
Funny stories, one worker turned on the hose and the pipe burst just inside my wall. I wasn't supervising at the time. It took him a while to casually mention to me that maybe something was wrong. I guess he thought a water flowing out of my siding might be a fancy waterfall feature or something.
I had another screw in an outside fixture light bulb for me. I wasn't home at the time. He then decided to remove it and left me a note that the light "didn't work"...the switch was inside and hadn't been flipped into the on position yet.
These stories just illustrates that these are college students not yard pro's. Depending on who you get they may not have a lot of experience. But they are a GREAT service for someone who needs reasonable labor prices for unskilled labor such as weeding, mowing, cleanups, or help around the house. Nice kids ready and willing to work for some summer cash. Just plan on hanging out with them to give them any guidance they may need.
Also be aware they have a very short season (summer break) - so you can't rely on them to mow early or late in the grass growing season.
