UPSTAIRS ANTIQUES

The owner/operator, Joan, knows that I have a 95 lb. black, standard poodle named Zorro. She had recently procured two statues of poodles that she wanted me to look at. Joan knew I had NO intention of buying such a thing, but she thought they were cute and wanted my opinion. Upstairs Antiques always has interesting objects and I have bought several treasured pieces. So, I agreed to a short visit. When I saw that one of the statues had a cut just like my poodle, i.e. with a beard, I was sold! Spray painted semi-gloss black, it is a near replica of our aging, dear friend. The statue of Zorro sits proudly guarding the perennial garden and will be his tombstone when he passes. Joan was very happy I liked it, of course. That's an example of how she and her staff work.
