Horrible experience. Had to book far in advance because they had no availability. The time came and went on the scheduled day. We called and they said “oh we meant to email you. We’ll come tomorrow.” Fine, but annoying since it was between 1-5pm. When the guy came, he said we need GFCI outlets, which are our responsibility. He also checked our sconce lamps and said he could fix them but since he would be coming again we decided to get new ones to install. They couldn’t schedule him for another month, so we waited. Incredibly, the scheduled time came and went AGAIN. They rescheduled for the next day, AGAIN, but I told them I wouldn’t be home until 1:15. They didn’t pass that on to electrician so when I got home he had been waiting and was frustrated. This time it was 2 different guys. They came in and said they refuse to replace out outlets or lamps as planned because GFCI isn’t good enough and they recommend we rewire our whole 200-year-old house. What?!?! Oh, but they showed up so it cost $150. Outrageous!!!

Under new ownership, I used them for years and loved the service that Richard and his team provided. The last time I called to have a few things done, the woman on the phone told me I would need to give them a $200 deposit to get on a WAITING LIST. I don't know if this is standard practice in the industry or not but it felt very wrong to me, and not the professional courteous service I had come to expect. Guess I'm looking for a new electrician.

I have used Patriot Electrical for 20 years. They have always been excellent.

They're high but they're good. They know the rules and what's code and what isn't. They also know how to deal with various ranges, I live in an antique house nothing is cold everything is messed up, so they're very good at working there. They're also very good at newer houses, I'm a realtor I've used them to put in the smoke and carbon monoxide to be sure they are safe for the town and they are, I had an occasion where I had to call them and I think they were there in an hour or two for something that needed attention.

Patriot Electric were prompt, clean, and courteous. They went out of their way to make sure everything was to my liking and a day or two after the job was completed, I got a followup call, to make sure I was happy with the work they did. It doesn't get any better than this and I highly recommend them.

Crew was thorough and professional. Worked hard, cleaned up well. Estimate and final price almost identical. Didn't waste time. Very satisfied.

It took a second call to get them to come, but 2 guys showed up on the minute, did the job efficiently, the bill came a week later and was fair, no bargain, no extra.  I would indeed use them again.

Great, they came quickly, found a screw that was screwing up the works and ordered and replaced the knob.

Very punctual and professional.

We are comparing our estimates (from different providers) and have not yet decided which company will do the work.

Called, recalled.  Took more than two weeks to get them to come to estimate.  Everything they looked at was going to be a problem, big job, was not in code.  Then never got an estimate

This is hard to remember exactly.  I actually wrote a review back in July, so I don't understand why I have been asked to do it again.
That said, they came out right away when I called for an estimate.  It was comparable to another estimate I had gotten, and I picked Patriot because they were on Angie's List.  They came to do the work within days of receiving my deposit.  They  took 2 days to complete the work, which seemed reasonable..  They were prompt, courteous and acted professionally.  We have have had no problems at all with the work.  I highly recommend Patriot.

Richard Irwin came over right away to give us an estimate.  That was on a Wednesday.  They came over the following Tuesday and Wednesday to perform the work.
I wasn't home when they came, but my husband and son had no problems with the electricians.  They finished up in a timely fashion.
The work was very neatly done, and things were put back where they belonged when they were done.
I haven't gotten the final bill yet, but Patriot said they would honor the Angie's List coupon I had.

Called them for replacing a bathroom fan and installing exterior outlets.  Came very promptly and acted in a professional way.  I received the quotes in time.  I ended up not needing that service, but will look up to them for future needs.

Outstanding.   We would hire Patriot Electrical again.   They were professional, timely and  honest.

It went very well.

We exchanged email and telephone calls with Patriot Electric but we were never able to actually meet Mark Czewinski as he explained he was too busy. This is accurate as the time frame involved was at the start of the 2011 heating season. On a very positive note, Mark contacted ecobee on our behalf to find another local contractor whom ecobee recommended, and Mark actually set us up with that Boston-area contractor, Lynhurst Plumbing and Heating, for installation of two ecobee units and two Intellidyne Intellicon FA units. That Mark would go out of his way to help us find another company to do the work says quite a lot about Mark and about Patriot Electric.

Patriot arrived on time on the date arranged. They got down to work immediately and were non-intrusive and respectful. I was concerned that when they finished installing the recessed lights, I'd be cleaning up plaster, but they brought their own vacuum (don't laugh- I've had contractors use my home vacuum and shp vac without asking) and when they left, it was like no one had been in there! Made me a very happy customer!

I am happy with their work and would absolutely use them in the future.

I was in charge of maintenance for two years and quickly found out that Patriot was an excellent contractor. They showed up on time, did the work professionally, and charged a reasonable fee. This happens several times over a period of two years, and always in the winter. Paddle is a winter sport, and play is very dangerous when a light burns out or goes bad on a court. The light must be fixed the next day so that play can resume the following night. Patriot Electric regularly showed up on an emergency basis to get the lights working again.
