We are general building contractors, but we have also built new houses. . We are excellent designers, generally small renovations to whole house renovations, including designing to match the existing conventions of the structure. The best design is where one can't tell what was existing and what was added.

He is a very thoughtful design person who keenly keeps in mind the wishes of his clients and simultaneously respects the environment in which he is working. You may be able to find cheaper construction companies than Mr. Robinson's but you will not be able to find anyone better. He is an excellent craftsman with a keen eye for detail and finish. He and his partners bring decades of invaluable experience to every project. They use engineers when appropriate to insure safety and compliance with all building codes. Their subcontractors have to meet their high standard which guarantees an outstanding finished project. Mr. Robinson has given me what only a rare number of contractors provide. The completion date is the completion date. His word is as good as gold. I could go on much longer detailing the virtues of Mr. Robinson and DRA LLC. My father was a good honest contractor who gave me a decent understanding of the inns and outs of construction. LIke my father Mr. Robinson is also a good man that you can trust to get a job finished that will look and work great and last for decades. All of his work has met or surpassed my expectations. If you can afford him you would be silly to take a chance with some else. You may call me as a reference or if you have any questions that you would like answered. With complete sincerity.

Dick, Adam and Ralph are fantastic to work with. They are exceedingly thoughtful and conscientious, as well as personable and creative. They were a pleasure to have in our home, even as the inevitable dust flew and we were cooking in a dank basement for two months. The whole process went according to schedule and the final project exceeded our expectations. This is high end work!

They are great to work with. They have a good artistic sense as well as
excellent carpentry skills. Also the kind of people you don't mind having around the house (clean, courteous, professional). They are a very good value. You could hire
someone less expensive, but the less expensive contractor would need a
level of supervision that this skilled crew does not. And I suspect
you could hire many contractors who would be more expensive and not do
as nice a job. The job looks stupendous.

They do extremely high quality, careful work. We trusted them completely to do a good job. Years ago they had replaced several windows and a sliding door in our house, and we really liked their work, so when the shed needed work we called them again. They made a new foundation, put on new siding, and new roof for our shed. It is in MUCH better shape now than it was before, and is tighter and longer lasting than it was before. They were very knowledgeable about available materials, and used cement siding which I had never heard of, which will last longer, and then painted it to match the house. While they were here they also fixed some rotted wood on the house. And when they had done the windows years ago I had told them to do the trim in a certain way, and I found I didn't like that, so I asked them to redo the trim in a different way, which I like a whole lot better. I hadn't realized that it could be re-done so I am now happier with how the windows look.
I gave them only a B on punctuality because they started the job later than they said they were going to, and we had to change our scheduled visits to the house (its a second home) to match their schedule. It certainly was not necessary for us to be present while they did the work, since they are completely trustworthy, but we wanted to be. And I gave them a B on price because they are definitely not a low bidder. But their high price is worth every penny. Our satisfaction with the work that was done will last longer than any short term pleasure in the price would have.
