Above & Beyond Window Cleaning

We live in a deck house with many large plate glass windows and sliding glass doors--which is great, except when it comes to cleaning. Scott did a really exceptional job, inside and out, and was a consummate professional. I definitely plan to hire him again.

I texted with Scott the day before and he had an opening for the following day. He showed up on time, got right to work and even helped me clean a difficult mirror and glass table. The windows look great and I’m going to sign up for regular window cleaning with him. Scott was super professional and really passionate about his work. He also does gutter cleaning and power washing.

Scott was a true professional from our first exchange. Scott explained that his website has an instant quote. He followed up with a phone call to let me know the pricing seemed too high. From the get go I could tell Scott is honest. Scott was punctual and arrived up on time. He cleaned the windows first inside then outside. They were spotless. He replaced 80% of our screens. The screens I asked for; there was no upselling here. Cleaning approximately 20 windows was a 3 hour job. Scott took the screens with him to replace and returned and installed them a few days ahead of schedule. Pricing was very fair. Service was exceptional. I will recommend and use again.

Scott did a wonderful job house washing our white vinyl siding on our raised ranch with his "soft wash" technique. He sent us videos of the technique beforehand and fully explained what he would do. After reading up on power washing for vinyl siding (not a good idea because water can get under the siding), we had reluctant to wash the siding; thus, the siding hadn't been washed in 30 years and now it looks brand new!

Not only did Scott show up on time, but he is neat and very professional. I had the same window cleaner for over 20 years and he recently retired so I was a little worried about trying someone new. This is the second time we've contracted with Above & Beyond Window Cleaning, and both experiences have been excellent. Scott is a professional, intelligent, knows his business and is quick to provide advice based upon his extensive experience, including ideas for window hardware repair. The cleaning results are crystal clear. For exterior, he uses a specially designed wand / pressure hose / brush combo that reaches second story windows without a ladder. He offers to return to clean further if we find any problems, but have never had to do so as he does the job right the first time. Although A&B WC is based in Boston, we are in Lowell and he showed up on time at 7:00 AM. Highly recommended. By the way, Scott can also repair your screens.

I called Scott for window cleaning in a clients condo 1 week prior to the first Open House. Scott returned my call the following morning and was able to visit the condo that same morning. I would have been pleased to have had the work done prior to the Open House. Responding to the fact that a photo shoot was scheduled in 2 days he scheduled his cleaning for 3 hours before the shoot. He finished cleaning the windows an hour before the photo session of the unit. The windows look amazing. He also fixed a window sash which had been incorrectly installed and cleaned some pendant lights at no additional charge. Scott is an individual who exceeds expectations and is a pleasure to deal with. He is a proactive professional as reflected in all the other reviews.

Scott did an excellent job cleaning the many windows in our residence including an assortment of vintage Back Bay windows which are large, in some places decrepit, and in many places difficult to access. They were also very, very dirty. Additionally, we have over 40 newer tilt-in style windows. Scott was 100% professional and alerted me to many issues I had not noticed with respect to the condition of the outsides of the windows. Now, our windows are beautifully clean and look wonderful. I appreciated that Scott did the entire job himself, he took a lot of pride in doing quality work and he followed up a week later to make sure I was satisfied. I priced a couple of other options for the job and found Scott’s rates to be reasonable in comparison. I am convinced no one else would have done a better job. We will definitely be asking Scott back again next year.

Scott did a great job and was great to work with. He was incredibly responsive, contacting me to estimate the job within a day of me submitting my request. And he was able to fit me in for an appointment pretty quickly as well. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and was very personable. I will be hiring him to do our windows every year from now on.

Excellent. Scott was very responsive, scheduled my window cleaning much sooner than other companies could, arrived early and did a highly professional and careful job. While cleaning my skylights he noticed that one of my gutters was blocked, so he took care of that as well. The job took slightly less time than he had estimated, so he volunteered a reduction in price. On leaving, he offered to come back if I noticed anything wrong after he'd gone. He was friendly and personable. No complaints at all.

After attempting to clean the windows myself, I am so glad I deferred to a professional! Scott was very responsive, professional, and friendly. I felt comfortable with him in my home and was pleased with the results of his work - what a difference clean windows make!! Awesome. Scott is excellent at what he does! The whole process was impressive from start to finish. He was super responsive and answered all my questions thoroughly. I thought his pricing was very reasonable. He arrived EXACTLY when he said he would and worked very quickly and efficiently. He wore booties on his shoes which I really appreciate. He explained everything that he did and my windows look AMAZING. I am going to have them done again in the fall and then annually. He is a one man shop with lots of experience and is very good at his craft! (He also cleaned all the glass in ALL my doors- huh!)
