I cannot tell you how poorly it was done. The part that put me over the edge was they did not put the Polaris in the pool and when I called to question why - they said the pump was "frozen" and needed to be replaced. No paperwork was left behind after the pool was opened notifying me of the issue. They charge $455 to basically take the pool cover off, I found plugs and pieces from the cover on the lawn, the spa was left uncovered, and of course nothing was cleaned - that is not part of the service. They opened and charged me for a new bag of chemicals even though a bag was in the pool house. Once I reported the Polaris issue, they were very fast to ask me to approve a $500 invoice to order a replacement immediately. After two weeks of not hearing back and no scheduled date for the pump to be replaced, I had an independent pool contractor come to the house. Within 5 mins and a bit of WD40 the pump was working. I called South Shore and expressed my concern. The owner did not call or apologize - she just sent an email saying that when the pump finally did die I should call them to replace it. I have dealt with their unprofessionalism for a couple of seasons but this was the last straw. Please beware. They are nice but incompetent.
