Fantastic! From my first call to inquire, to install of my countertops and backsplash, everyone was extremely professional and exceeded my expectations!

I contacted close to 10 granite fabrication and/or granite repair companies, about half didn't return my calls or e-mails to discuss the job. Of those that did call back, most told me it could not be done on site.  Explore Stone was one of only two companies who told me this actually could be done on site.  The other company would have done it for a little less, but their reportedly busy schedule would have meant delaying the project a bit. 
 Thiago and a co-worker came to our home the next day and performed the work.   I appreciated Thiago's quick response time to my inquiry, and  I was really appreciative at his offer to come out the next day (a Saturday, no less) to do the work.  Even better, he bumped us up to a morning time slot when he had a cancellation.  Overall the project could not have gone any better, the results were great, and his experience doing this work (13 years, I think he said) meant that he  took a lot of care to use methods that minimized the granite dust, so cleanup after they left was a snap.   Will call them again with the next project (new cooktop will require a larger hole).  Highly recommend them, very professional, efficient and reasonably priced.

Thiago arrived and settled in quickly to repair a crack in our kitchen counter (granite).  After examining the damage, he explained what might have caused it, the repair options available, pros and cons of each, and then began the repair.   I found him to be pleasant and personable.  He also took a look at a crack in our granite fireplace, and I'll definitely have him back in the future for that repair.  I'm very pleased with the work that he did, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
