Well, it wasn't going away and was tuning into a sore. Still, I was being prescribed more stuff to put on it. After more months and more stuff to put on it I was got an appointment to have it removed. By this time it had grown quite large and red. It took a lot of stitches, but it was finally gone. About a month later I could fee a small lump on his neck and asked for an appointment at WAC. They said I could come in the following week, but couldn't operate for about 4 months (Feb 2021) as they were all booked up. It was growing quickly. I made an appointment at VESH emergency clinic. They found that by this time the cancer had spread and the lump was too large to remove. All I can do is give pain medication. They have total lack of urgency.

For 4 years he had many tests, put on expensive prescription foods and eventually prednisone. The symptoms lessened for a while and when they were coming back was switched to prednisolone. The symptoms lessened again for a while, but returned and that's when I decided to look up on line the symptoms and found he had a vitamin B12 deficiency. Considering how long it takes to get an appointment, I decided to to order the liquid B12 and ordered it. Well, after about a month of, his symptoms had gone away! HIS QUALITY OF LIFE WAS BACK! I looked back at his past records and he was NEVER tested for vitamin B12 deficiency. So, he could of had nearly four years of a better quality of life if just one B12 test had been done by WAC.

They were very sensitive to our feelings. Handled the procedure professionally and our dear pet felt no pain. Note the cost includes multiple visits and drugs

They do a good job, but they are very expensive. They did a surgery for my dog 2 years back. They lady vet is very good. She calls back to inquire about how the dog is doing.

I brought my dog there continuously for the same problem where there is blood in the stool and their kinda of always gave me diagnosis of colitis and seemed like I paid for the same test and the same medications a whole bunch of times and then I went to another vet and they actually did a rectal exam and they have assume that he might have had a lot of rectal exams because he has visited a vet multiple times for rectal bleeding but he had never even got a rectal exam and the rectal exam does identified the problem that he ended up having a polyp and needed surgery to remove it so it's just disappointed that they did focus on one diagnosis and did not really consider that it could be another thing and just deal with the appropriate best work performed for the given problem. I thought they were expensive I would say beyond that as well.

They are very kind and friendly there. They also cut his toenails. I always think it's too expensive.

The initial visit itself was fine. During the exam, the vet told us that we needed to bring our 7-year old cat in for dental work. The vet suggested we wait and call for an appointment during December when they would be offering a 30% discount for these services. We thought this was very accommodating and helpful. The estimate for the work we received that day was $498.00 (before the discount was applied). We were told we would receive detailed information in the mail prior to my cat's dental appointment. We called in December and made the appointment for January 11th. We received a call about 2 weeks prior to that date to tell us to make sure our cat had no food or water after midnight on 1/10 and to bring her in between 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. We received the information package in the mail when we got home on January 10th around 4:30 pm. Included with it was a different estimate for between $670 - $730 (including a repeat of the exam we had just paid for in October). We called and got the message that the offices were closed. We left a message about our displeasure regarding the new estimate (and increased cost) and the last minute notice. We also notified them that we would not be bringing the cat in the next day. We got a return phone call at about 5:05 pm. When asked pointed questions about the difference in cost, the explanation was that it wasn't any different than the earlier estimate (even though we had the two different estimates in writing). When asked why we were being billed for another "annual" exam we were told that it was because it was a different vet doing the dental work and because of the anesthesia required. We could understand there being a difference of $50, maybe even $100 on an estimate, but a difference of between $170 - $200 only looks like a means to make sure that the "discount" would not affect the money they would receive. There was no understanding of our concerns and no attempt to correct anything, just an attempt to explain it away. We made it clear we would not be bringing the cat in the next morning. Additionally, we clearly expressed we felt it was extremely poor customer service to mail out a final estimate and information on the procedure on Friday the 7th, when the appointment had been made at least 4 - 5 weeks prior to that date and there was more than enough time to prepare the necessary information and get it to us in a timely manner. Based on this experience, we will be finding a new veterinarian to care for our pet. We have been left with the feeling that they cared more about the money than caring for our cat.

On every visit, the staff has been friendly and we have been seen promptly. The exam rooms are very clean and the vets and assistants are knowledgeable and good at handling nervous pets. They always explain the procedures clearly and spell out any options available. They even call to follow up and make sure you don't have any questions after a major procedure. The only downside is that you can hear the staff (in what sounds like their break room, chatting and ordering lunch and so on) while you are in the exam area. The rates are a bit on the expensive side but it is well worth it for the care you get here! Dr. Wepner especially is excellent!

I was searching for a new vet. I visited Westover Animal Clinic in Chicopee, MA and was thrilled to meet two amazing doctors -- Dr. Lisa Weppner and Dr. Constant. I discovered my older cat was a diabetic. Dr. Weppner has been remarkable! In the beginning, I called the office constantly with questions. And here's something rare... Dr. Weppner calls every few weeks just to check on all my critters' progress because now I'd take all my babies there (all the cats and dog). These people really care and the entire staff is professional, competent, caring and very friendly. You will never doubt your critters are in the best of hands when they're at Westover Animal Clinic.
