The roof went alright but there were problems with the roof. They addressed some of the issues but not all of them. Once the got their money they didn't address anything. They never reinstalled the gutters. They never gave me a warranty on the roof. I have asked them several times for it via email and calls and they have never gotten back to me.

Nick and his team did an excellent job.  We had used Nick previously to clean and paint our basement when we had mold issues.  From our great experience with Nick on the basement, we hired Nick to do the bathroom.  Nick was always responsive in terms of coming out to the house, providing us with a quote and answering any questions we had.  Both times, Nick provided us with a very detailed and fairly priced quote for the work.  We needed the work done while we were on vacation.  Nick scheduled us in the those specifc dates and showed up and completed the work when he said he would.  Since we weren't home, we left Nick with our key to let him self in and lock up afterwards each day.  We had no issues whatsoever.  Nick was very easy to work with.  He gave good suggestions and advice on what we should do.  I wanted a panasonic fan on a timer and that is what Nick installed.  He referred us to a tile company where we didn't have much luck finding what we wanted.  We went to another tile company. Nick got the tile we wanted from them no issues.



Nick is so focused on service that I called him while he was working at our house and told him that we had a few issues with our bathrrom sink.  I asked him if the plumber could take a look at it while he was there.  Nick said no problem instantly and it was fixed.  No additional charge.



I am thankful that I found Nick using Angie's list.  I now have a contractor that I can use when I need something done to the house.  Great feeling!  Looking forward to havng Nick redo our kitchen in a few years.

Estimate work went well, Nick arrived on time, Nick is knowledgeable, friendly and a nice person. It started when I spoke with his office person, I requested a schedule for the work. I was told there is no way to give a customer a work schedule. There are too many issues with weather. I told the person I understood the concerns about weather delays and other uncontrollable issues that might occur.
I mentioned to her that I handled many projects in my former position and always received schedules from my contractors, I never received any type of schedule. I questioned concerns I had with a sub contractor, (his excavator). The excavator arrived without any plans to work with but started digging anyways. Concrete contractor arrived and the excavation was dug wrong and needed to be re-worked before foundation could be set up and poured.
The concrete company did not install any expansion joints and when I asked Nick about this concern. Nick said he even asked his contractor and he told him not to worry about it, it will be OK.
Nick seems to have only a small staff and some are not as skilled as the other professionals. There are days when he scheduled his staff to work at the house and I would be home all day and no one would show up until late afternoon.
When I would question the schedule, I would be told that sometimes they would run late on another job. Problem I have is I am paying $60,000.00 for my project and would like to know my project is done before they're to start other projects.
Within 6 months the concrete pad on my patio is cracked, I told Nick I did not want any repairs done with concrete during winter months, my garage floor has a large crack across the width of the floor. My Breezeway floor (subfloor) makes noise like it is flexing when you walk on it.
I contacted Nick in August and was told he come over within a week but two weeks later, we received an e mail asking to set up a date to make the repairs to the Breezeway floor and seal the cracks in the garage floor and patio. I do not want someone to simply apply sealer on the cracks and Nick says he is going to fix the sub floor from beneath the floor. Nick is a great person, his staff might be too small for the size his company is growing into. When Nick was on site everything ran smoothly, when Nick was not there, that seems to be when things do not go as planned. I would use Nick for smaller jobs, but when his sub contractors are used is where I had my concerns. I will say his sub contractor electrician and siding contractors were great, they worked like professionals with professional finishes.

They are a great company. They did a good job. Their price was good. They were a great company to deal with. I do recommend them highly.

Anything in the future I'll use him if I can. I was a little weary because before I retired, I always did my own do-it-yourself work, but I was very impressed with his work.

The work went quickly and was done well. Since I was out of town when the work was being done he texted me photos as jobs were done which was a great bonus for me. I am already talking with him about some other projects after he completes the current work.
I would definitely (obviously) hire him again.

We had a stall shower that had leaked into the floating floor, the flooring was dinged, cracked and stained and the walls around the shower needed to be replaced due to water damage. N Riley came in replaced the shower and wall board, the linolium floor and toilet.
N Riley was extremely efficiant! The demo guys came in did their thing, clean it all up and left, next came the plumber to fix any issues and get the shower area ready for the new unit. Then the dry wall guys and flooring, general work guys back to put shower in the bathroom and plumber to finish hooking it up. All this in 2.5 days!
There was a small issue with the drywall guys mudding over wall paper but it was pointed out and they fixed it with no complaints or questions. They worked into the evening to keep the project on time and to work around my fiance's schedual, he works third shift.
They were clean, fast and top notch work. They did not try and sell a whole bathroom for a small repair they just did what we asked. They repaired all the water damage and replaced pipes that were falling apart.
I would 100% use them again and recommend them to anyone in the area.

From the start we liked Nick and his team. Always very professional and was willing to work with our budget. We did have a pretty major delay on the countertops coming in, however once they did Nick's team were very quick to finish off the job for us. Even a couple of months later we have a couple of finikey issues, and they have come out, no problem, to make it right, at of course no extra charge. We will be using them again for other projects around the house for sure!

He was very nice and knowledgeable. He was very good and I was very happy with him. If we hadn't gone with another company I would have used him. He seemed to have a good way about him. He had a good idea of what type of work would be involved with the repair.

Easy to work with, had professional work people, did the job quickly, and were responsive and courteous. Showed up when they said they would, except for one time due to mixup. No big deal. Were delayed once, but his office called to tell us. Professional job. Would definately use again.

I would describe this company in one word: FABULOUS! The quality of their workmanship is excellent, and they are reasonably priced.

Nick was very professional and very polite. He answered all my questions and did a very good job. I had some termite damage and he fixed all the damage in a very professional manner. Cleaned up after himself completely. I am very satisfied with the job he did. I would definitely call him for any future jobs .

Very professional and courteous. Entire job took a little longer than I expected with a few communication gaps (due to coordinating ordered parts and other services - like the plumber schedule). But overall really happy with the work. Had a few other estimates and Nick was clearly the most knowledgable and professional and his estimate was fair and accurate. Our bathroom turned out beautiful!

He oversaw every single detail, made sure the work was done to the level of quality I requested, and kept the project on time and on budget. I have since used N Riley Construction for a number of other projects from carpet installation to flooring work to installing new windows. Every single job he has done for me, big or small, he has made sure was done exactly the way he said it would be. I would give Nick my highest level of recommendation.
