They were very good. They were very nice guys. We were very pleased with them. He did it for a long time. He helped us with the permitting process, and we got it last year. It was very expensive. It was a full attic. It was for a thousand square feet upstairs. They were very professional, very competent, very helpful and he was there. They were extremely neat. They had a guy come out of the window so they wouldn't track up the house. It was a huge thing. They did it without having to distract us. They did it while we were still living below it.

Right from the beginning we were impressed, as Bill from Old Court advised us about permit application and hearings, since our project required a variance proceeding.  The carpenters were here on time, worked steadily through the day, and always cleaned up afterwards.  They minimize any intrusion into or through the home, in our case by using the back stairs.  And they wash down the stairs daily, in addition to sweeping and picking up!  The quality of the workmanship and materials, and the professionalism of the carpenters has been exceptional.  We appreciate that no corners are ever cut.  Everything is done properly.  We've referred Old Court to friends, who have also been very happy.  We would not hesitate to hire them, with confidence, for any future project.

Bill was great to work with!
Super friendly and questions I had he explained in great detail.
I had concerns about another project I had done before finding Old
Court Carpenters on Angie’s List. Bill gave me great advice and was even willing
to help repair the poor work done by the other contractor.   I will use this company for
upcoming projects on my home.

Old Court's work was nothing short of brilliant, and Bill and his team were a delight to work with.  We were referred to Bill by the house inspector when purchasing a new home.  We closed on one day, and the Old Court crew were in the very next morning to start the repairs that the house needed.  Bill was incredibly responsive, and he and his crew, especially Dave, and his uncle Frank were just a delight to work with.  They were prompt, and incredibly considerate of our 3 month old baby.  But the quality of the work was what really blew us away.  After seeing what Old Court was able to accomplish with our new house, we asked Bill to come see what it would take to install a removable railing on the stairs to the basement in our condo so that we could get it ready to rent, and what he came up with not only met code, but was incredibly creative and appealing.
Bill also gave us estimates for his work that came in right on to the penny, even as we added items at the last minute (a new custom closet door, and other rotten wood trim that needed repair).  He was both reasonable, and flexible.
We've had contractors in the past, but the workmanship and professionalism of the Old Court team was really superb.  We really feel so lucky to have been referred to Bill and will use Old Court for all of needs moving forward.
