Our entire experience with Michael has been exceptionally good. I would recommend him to anybody.

Friends had recommended Elaine Fine to help us find a home. We spent several weekends with her, and she was very efficient and prepared. However, she consistently brought to us to houses that were nothing like what we had described to her (major time waste for everyone involved) and, worse yet, she concealed deal breaking details about the few houses that did meet our needs. If we hadn't done our own homework and discovered these details, we would have ended up very unhappy buyers. She told us she didn't think they were important. Finally, we found another agent in another town who did a great job of helping us find just the right home. We discovered later that our friends who had worked with Elaine had found their properties on their own and simply had her help them with closing the deal.

I thought this company was really good. They look into things for you and they research stuff, which is good. They definitely take their jobs seriously. They are really professional and hard workers. They are just a good place to use for real estate in this area.

Used a buyer's agent from Hammond and the property was listed by the same company. The seller's agent was unable to find the time to provide access to the property during showing, inspection, etc. Other members of the company needed to fill in for the agent. The selling agent was unable or unwilling to obtain information about the maintenance and repair records of the property. Thus the buyer's agent tried to fill in. Yet the seller's agent was available to receive the purchase and sale monies. Lastly, the seller's agent did not attend the closing or present the final bills. The experience makes one conclude that Hammond does not have quality control or professional codes of conduct for its associates.

He uses e-mail to keep us informed of houses that fit our criteria.
