Overall, the experience was okay. The market for my area is very slow right now, so simply advertising in the Boston Globe didn't do much to bring in calls. My decision to switch was mainly because I didn't feel City Square had the experience or resources to effectively market during these slow times. For example, even though my area tends to attract potential buyers who either work or want to live in Boston/Cambridge, but can't afford the prices, City Square was advertising on the North Shore paper rather than focusing on Boston neighborhoods. Also, I didn't find that City Square knew anything more about my neighborhood than the competing realtors.
