Vinyl and Air

I gave Vinyl and Air a try because they were quite near us. I wanted to add a name and simple graphic to our new sailboat and replace the existing pinstripe with a color we preferred. Bob agreed and gave me the option of removing the old pinstripe myself to save a little money, which I did. Since I was trying to replace the existing pinstripe with an identical stripe which was hard to find locally, he was fine letting me go to the original boat maker to get replacement striping even though it would reduce his profit. We provided a design for the lettering and he spent some time with us perfecting the font, size and layout, then cut the vinyl lettering at his shop. A few days later, he did the application of the graphics while I "helped" a bit, but mostly eyeballed and approved the final positions. He used some clever strategies for dealing with the long peices of striping, and the finished product looked even better than I expected it would. Bob was easy going, accomodating, pleasant to work with and reasonably priced.
