The project went very well. Steve was recommended to us when the architect we'd originally hired fell ill and was not able to complete the job within the timeframe we needed. (The total value of the job was approx. $7000.) The transition to working with Steve was very smooth. Steve has a great eye for detail and has an excellent sense for how things get built. He met with us to establish what we wanted in the end product and regularly provided progress documents for our review. He also had good recommendations on materials and had samples to show when needed. He moved the project forward very efficiently and was very responsive to our requests. We couldn't be more pleased. The Signature Architects website indicates that they do commercial work. We came to him through an odd set of circumstances and perhaps they don't regularly take on residential projects but its at least worth asking. Steve was really good.
