Basement Remodel, Sunroom and Patio Service + 4 more
My wife and I hired John (the owner) to help us with some minor remodeling.
Work promised: 1. door relocation
2. window installation
3. drain for front porch
4. build a wall
5. install an AC outlet
Work completed:
1. NONE!!
He didn't dig the hole for the new door (said too much work)
He charged us for a new door to put in the original location (door to be moved 2" wider)
Framed wall but did not sheet rock or insulate it
Never ran the electrical outlet as promised
Tore down half the side wall for new door then left it torn to pieces after refusing to put the door there.
Space below the window leaked when it rained
Never sealed the wall around the window but tacked up old sheet rock with little pieces so it looked like a puzzle
Cut the closet shelf in half (ABSOLUTELY no idea why!), rendering it useless
Cut holes in the ceiling and side wall (checking for wires) and left it
Broke an AC vent and left it sitting on the floor
Door stop below door was NOT repoured or sealed -- leaked BADLY when raining
Left a huge pile of dirt for us to shovel outside
This company is TERRIBLE and NOT TO BE TRUSTED. We had to pay even more money just to redo his shoddy work and fix all the stuff he broke!!
