 + 0 moreAs soon as Jack McHugh came by to look at the site, I knew he was the person I was looking for. He was easy to talk to, he immediately understood what we wanted (mostly it was a cosmetic job), offered a lot of good suggestions, and quoted a reasonable price. He brought by samples of decking, and subcontracted the demolition/excavation of the existing solid-concrete stairway (they were good too). Once the job started, Jack worked quickly and I was happy with the quality of the work. Jack was easy to communicate with throughout the process. He worked so well, I've found myself looking for other jobs to call Jack about!
Description of Work: Our house was made with a small roofline for a farmer's porch, but the porch was never installed. Instead, a solid concrete stairway went to the door. We quoted three places to install a farmer's porch in the existing space. We wanted a straight-forward aproach, and someone that could basically lay out the job for us (i.e. we weren't getting plans from an architect or something).

Description of Work: They installed a double pane glass French door with a double dead bolt. It is fiberglass. The cost of the door was included in that price.
