I need to preface here:
This Major issues started in late 2008
Two - I also Estimate I have spent over $3,000 for cable service (TV only) over these years.I
t was fall 2008 - the year we had that late crazy ice storm and lots of people lost power,
phone and cable.
After a few Days - I sort of had cable. - it was INTERMITTENT!! I stress this - as it was SEVERE!
They had ME come to THEIR center - at least twice - to trade in the black box.
Watching a show - that was not clear - then Poof - it was out. It was Crazy making!!
Of course I started calling Comcast right away - I might as well have been talking to myself!
I'm cutting through my own story here - I'm Not exaggerating - I called them No Less that 100 times - and
this was over the course of MORE than THREE MONTHS.
At Comcast - the buck stops no where - almost every time I called - it was a different customer service person. I had to reexplain every thing over and over and over again. - And my calls were transfered to about FOUR different customer centers.
This is a place where the 'right hand - doesn't know what the right hand is doing'!!
I got names - I tried to get phone numbers. They ALL promised to call me back - and rarely did anyone call back.
One woman there - took my number after an agonizing and long phone call. She NEVER returned my call!!
She moved her office - and lost my number!!
I even drove over to Comcast on route 129 near route 3 - they were just as Unwelcoming there.
I wrote a complaint letter to Philadelphia, Pa - their ingenious method of reprimanding their service department - was to physically mail my complaint Back to the very people I was complaining about! CRAZY!!
I yelled - I screamed - finally - after MONTHS - YES MONTHS!!! A couple of 'high-end' techs came out - found out when a tree (one street over) came down on the lines - it blow out a cable port in the back of my TV.
Did they offer to fix, repair or replace my TV cause of their damage?? - No Way!
I haven't even touched upon how Comcast gouges people on the cost.
I can't wait to drop them someday - I feel like a hostage.
