My floors came out beautifully!

Initial visit and estimate was very prompt. Competitive price for the one room project. Minor mix up with material delivery that took a little work on my part to get resolved but everything work out fine and pretty much on schedule. Would be on top of my list for future flooring projects.

CB Hardwood Floors did an amazing job -- not only do the floors look like new, the company is very easy to work with. Unlike some contractors, Chris is committed to keeping the job on schedule -- the team worked on the weekend to make up for inclement weather delays. Chris and his team did a great job. He was very responsive in my initial inquiry and completed the job ahead of schedule (< 1 week) and below the cost estimate.

The floors look better than we thought they would! The work was done thoroughly, professionally, and quickly. There was minimal mess from the process (especially compared to the traditional sanding techniques). They came back to buff an area that was damaged when the furniture was put in place.

CB Hardwood Floors refinished our hardwood floors (oak and fir) throughout our house. Chris, the proprietor, and his crew were professional and responsive throughout. I got my quote promptly, the week-long job was done on schedule, and the results were excellent. I was particularly impressed by the consistent hard work, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship shown by the crew.
When there was some sort of blemishing of the top coat of poly urethane, the crew came back, rebuffed everything, and applied an additional coat at no charge, with very good results.

I contacted Chris while we were in the process of buying a circa 1920 house with old wall-to-wall carpeting that we wanted to remove to reveal the heart of pine floors underneath. I found Chris to be responsive, easy to talk to, honest, and very informative. Our biggest concern was finding a reliable contractor who would accommodate our schedule to refinish the floors so we could begin living in the house and stop renting a temporary apartment. Time was literally money. Chris was true to his word and his crew was efficient and polite. They were able to finish removing some old underlayment and a significant number of staples and nails left over from the old carpeting. The result was beautifully refinished heart of pine flooring and oak stair treads that were returned to their full glory. I highly recommend C B Hardwood floors and hope to hire them again to refinish our living and dining room floors.

To say that we're satisfied with the work done would be an understatement. Not only did CB fix a botched finish including hardwood chatter caused by another contractor, he installed additional flooring and trim. CB went out their way to explain what had gone wrong and the correct way to resolve it. The work was timely, neat, professional, and economical. The results are fantastic. The floors came out better than we could have imagined.

Chris had originally installed the floors in my Condo in 2012. When the prior owners moved out, there were large discolored areas where they had area rugs. Chris came over and assessed the floor. He was not 100% sure he could get the color to match but I asked him to try. He and his crew did an excellent job. The results are beautiful! Highly recommend.

We are very happy with the results. Great crew who were highly professional, yet friendly and good-natured. I work at home and my wife has an office in house., and in that regard, employees were sensitive to our needs and concerns. They kept us well-informed as to when various parts of project would take place, minimizing the disruption that such a project inevitably causes.
Job took a little longer than foreseen because on one day Chris called early to say an employee had a medical issue in family and crew could not come. He apologized for situation. However, Chris more than made up for that by having them work until 8:30 pm the next day.
My wife is, herself, a woodworker and furniture maker, so she is able to tell good work from bad. She can see if corners have been cut, or if care has been taken. She inspected finished job carefully and walked around the house exclaiming, "They did a great job!"

All went very well. The floors look beautiful and there was very little dust. Will need to paint a little bit of baseboard where sealant got on it but that's to be expected. The patch looks amazing! Can't even tell there was a hole there before. Chris and his team put plastic sheeting up where I requested and were careful about certain areas I pointed out. They were very professional, accommodating, and friendly.
There was a little scheduling problem that was quickly resolved.
Chris said he is coming back at some point to fill in a little knot hole left from sanding.
I would definitely use them again in the future.

No dust. None. The workers were terrific, hard working and quite professional. And friendly.. Floors now look gorgeous. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

It turned out pretty well. I'm very happy with them.

C B Flooring was great to work with. The guys were hard-working and efficient. They got the job done half a day sooner than expected, and it looked great. They told me that it was "dustless"; I was skeptical. Honestly, there wasn't a layer of dust anywhere in my house. It was truly awesome, and we will use them again.

Installed floors.

It was a difficult job because the existing floor was glued and tacked down. They removed it and replaced it with hardwood which they sanded and stained to perfection. Chris was responsive, professional and delivered exactly the product he promised in the original estimate.

I was moving into a new house and wanted the floors refinished before I moved in my furniture. CB Hardwood was able to accomodate my schedule and finished in the time estimated, despite a snafu with the house's heating system that slowed the drying of the urethane. The floors look great and there was no dust left at all. This review was written about a month after the floors were done, and they've held up well to having all of our furniture moved in and the general abuse of what shoes track in from a New England winter.

Overall, the entire process was done quickly and professionally vs. our previous experience. I would totally recommend Chris to anyone else.

Because they got tied up with two other jobs, they started a week later than we had planned. However, when they came to work, they really worked. Two workers arrived about 7:30 am to install the new floor and do the weaving, which was a considerable length. At about 2:30 in the afternoon the workers asked if we minded if they worked late as they really wanted to finish our house as they had another job to get to the next day. We said go ahead and work as long as you need to. Frankly, we were pleased that the job was getting done. They worked steadily until after 10 pm without hardly a break. We finally brought in some cookies and drinks as we were sure they must be famished. They finished and did a really nice job. The weave looked perfect.
Two guys and Chris came in the next day to sand. They wanted to use two sanders, but one was not "dustless" and we asked them not to use that one, so they complied with no problem. Two workmen worked from 7-3 pm and finished most of the sanding with just a few little corners to finish up. The third day Chris and Andrew came in and did the touch up sanding and put down the sealer and several hours later the first coat of TRAFFIC, We had to run a long errand that day and felt no cumpunction about giving Chris access to the house while we were not there. We returned before they left and were able to see where they were in the process. On the fourth day Chris and Andrew came and buffed the floors and put down the final coat of finish. They came at 7 a.m. and werre done by 10:30 or so. By 2:30 we could walk on the floors.

We felt Chris and his crew did an excellent job. We are completely sartisfied with the our beautiful new floors. Chris and his crew were all really nice guys, polite and friendly and very experienced.

They also went beyond the call of duty and moved our piano out of the lliving room and the heavy couches into the garage. Chris even said he would come back the following Monday to help get the piano back, but we were able to get other assistance.

CB Hardwood Floors did an amazing job! We got three estimates for the job and they were the best quote by 25%. We had some water damaged boards in the kitchen that were cupping and CB was the only quote that recommended board replacement rather than just sanding them down. Chris Brothers (the CB in CB) explained that they was the right way to fix the problem.

Communication was great. The crew arrived when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. They were done with the work in only three days. The floors look amazing! I highly recommend CB Hardwood Floors for your next flooring project.
