AVG Technologies

When I installed the anti-virus program from AVG, it knocked out the network adapter on my computer.  Prior to my doing so, I contacted AVG online and gave the customer service representative the information relating to my computer's memory, etc. and asked if their anti-virus program would be appropriate for my computer.  I was informed there would be no problem.  I have a copy for the entire conversation between myself and the AVG customer service representative.   It was necessary to hire a computer repairman come  to my home, to fix the problem and re-install the network adapter. I phoned AVG, and they agreed they would issue me a refund. I have never received it.  This was on April 20, 2011.  I have since called them numerous times and they continue to say the refund was processed.  It was not.  They claim the refund was processed on May 31, but I have no record of the refund on my card and  PayPal shows no record of the refund.  I have been in contact with both PayPal and AVG , and AVG continues to inform me the refund was processed.  PayPal has been very helpful and offered to do a three-way call with AVG and myself.  I did have a three-way phone conversation with PayPal and AVG on July 1, 2011.  When PayPal informed AVG's customer representative (Rick) there has been no refund submitted to me, AVG's CSR claimed he would submit this information to a supervisor and I would receive an email confirming the resolution shortly.  It never happened.
