The guys from Howlett Lumber are very friendly. They always talk to me about the things that needed to be done. They do things very accordingly. It was a very good experience for me. They made me smile.

After going to many kitchen designers (Lowe's,specialty businesses, custom work,etc) to talk about a design for a new kitchen and getting written estimates on them, my wife and I had all but given up. Most estimates including the demo of our kitchen and the install of the new one were either outrageously high and/or had cheap cabinets we would not be happy with. We just happened to go to Howletts in Charlton as they have a kitchen design center there with some kitchens on display. We met Bryan there and were impressed with how in tune he was with us the buyer.(imagine someone listening to what you really want!) He used a few different companies but steered us to one that had top notch all wood cabinets that looked great for a great price. He came to our house to do the layout and had some great suggestions for us about what he thought would be great to add on or a waste of our money. He was nothing short of phenominal for us. He emailed a day later with a quote that was literally one third the price of some quotes and half of most! He also hooked us up with a contractor (Property Solutions also of Charlton-you need to work with Rick!) who did the entire job and more.(floors,stairs) and has been the best contractor I have ever worked with. What a great experience the whole process was and we know what a pain and sometimes nightmare it can be. I cannot recommend Howlett or Property Solutions enough!
