The dishwasher was 20 years old and unused and the plumbing and electrical connections were cut in advance. It was a straightforward job, executed efficiently. The phone contact, Ashley, was very helpful. The removal team, Matt and Sam, were prompt and inspired confidence. I felt sure that they would have bent over backwards to be helpful if anything were needed.

They called to ask if they could come early, which was fine. The visual estimation for pricing is poorly executed. I believe I overpaid for services. The crew was not prepared to move concrete and dirt debris. They had no wheelbarrow and asked if I had one. They ended up using an old metal trash can and a new recycling bin to move most of the pile. (They do not take asphalt of any kind.) The two workers did not seem to have a good working relationship, either. It was a HOT Friday and I gave the worker that was doing most of the heavy work a sports drink, while the "lead" was getting another truck for just the heavy debris. At the end of it all, the "lead" asked the other worker "Which shovel is ours?" (I had loaned them my shovel thinking they would both be digging and moving the pile.) The all-blue one that matches your shirt and truck... C'mon! These guys were nice enough, but they could be more professional. I let them each use the bathroom, too.

I made an appointment over the internet for the same day. They came on time and hauled stuff away as I pointed and said, "take this, please." They left when the truck was full--I plan to have them back to finish up in a second load. They had no issues about taking dirty or sharp things (one board had nails in it), and were very good about letting me grab things away that I didn't want them to take; I had a lot of that in the cellar. They did exactly what I asked, which is what I wanted for this. For me, the best thing was that it was easy and quick.

Overall the experience was good. They were a little late dropping off the dumpster but that didn't matter because we weren't planning to use it that day. I really liked being able to order the dumpster online.

The 'lead' fellow was very professional and friendly. I walked both of them through all of the different areas (all outside) where the debris was and they removed everything as requested. The second team member was less than enthused to be there and in addition ended up cutting himself on one of the items being removed. We did a little triage for him. The work was complete in around an hour and the price was as estimated. They did a little bit of cleaning after the work was complete. Using this service is more expensive than getting a dumpster and doing it yourself, but the benefit of this company is you can just point at what you want removed and away it goes. The back of the invoice says, "That feels better now doesn't it?" and to tell you the truth, that's exactly what I thought after they left. Three years' worth of junk was gone in less than an hour. It's worth the price of admission.
