It was a small job but he showed up when he committed to. I actually worked with him because it took a couple of people in getting the material in and the fact that it was outside. To be plain and simple, I would consider him to be a great craftsman, he knows what he was doing and you did not have to quote me in that matter. The job was also done well and with a reasonable price.

My experience with them was excellent. They were on time and on budget. They did quality work, and they did what they said they were going to do.

He did a very good job. He cut in the ceilings with the wall paint and did the ceilings in the living room, kitchen and dining area. The price was good. He is very reliable and he does very good work.

Bob's skills, professionalism, and his talent for careful decision making were evident in every step of the project. He consulted with me on every aspect to make sure that I was comfortable with the choices made. He displayed an excellent understanding of how to schedule the various phases of the project. On those days when we were unable to finish a section of exposed roof, Bob made sure that the section was completely protected from any forecast rain or snow. He demonstrated a high regard for operating safely on the roof using the utmost care to secure ladders, scaffolds and equipment. And his time management skills were superb.

Bob's unique strength compared to other talented carpenters, remodelers, and roofers is that he has a passion for his craft. He works quickly but puts care into each and every step. He uses high quality materials. He uses proven techniques and avoids shortcuts. He cares about the 'look' of a project. For my roof all of this translated into a roof sealed from water and snow for at least the next 20 years if not more; perfectly straight rows of shingles across the roof (no wavy edge lines); roof valleys protected by a careful interweaving of shingles that meet in the valley; expert use of flashing (we used copper) and lead flashing where water is known to accumulate and run off in volume; replacement of weak and/or rotted trim boards including window sills, facing boards, and side trim when needed.

In conclusion, I can't recommend Bob highly enough. I intend on using him for future repairs and I highly recommend that you do the same. (Full disclosure: Bob is my neighbor. Prior to this job he had done small projects on my home and lent me his advice for projects I have undertaken on my own. Although I knew he did roofing infrequently--he works mainly as a carpenter/remodeler--there was no question in my mind that Bob was the person I wanted to replace my roof.)

The work was done very well and on schedule. Other contractors such as electrical and plumbing were coordinated.
The work area was cleaned up very well every day.
Reliable, reasonable and highly skilled.
We are very satisfied with the work and will use Bob again.
