Mike can build but not communicate. This is a deal breaker for us after 40 years of owning and renovating homes. We've never experienced anything like this..... When additional work/changes surfaced he refused to amend the contract in writing, continued working and way overcharged (at double the original contracted rate) -- handing us a bill when he walked out the door which was so high we thought it was a summary of the 1st contracted portion of the job including the additional work, which took much less time. (But we learned later at the time of a court summons that it was for the 2nd non contracted portion of work). He didn't mail a follow up bill to our PO Box, mistakenly sent it to our street address, so we never received it...he never called/wrote us to inquire about our nonpayment. Instead of contacting us he took us to court and made us feel like crooks.
