Very unhappy with our experience with Melville Construction. The owner refuses to discuss anything by phone -- even when a customer is having an issue. The first truckload we got for our driveway was not as described: it was almost all sand with a couple rocks over 6". The next layer they delivered was described as loam tailings and good for driveways. IT IS ALMOST ALL ROOTS. Well, I'm sorry, but I just busted my butt taking roots OUT of my driveway. NO THANKS. Also, we were told to expect delivery today in the AM, but they couldn't be bothered to show up or contact us until after 1PM. This company has the WORST customer experience. I feel mislead. Please don't make the same mistake we did by using this company.
