We had to evict two possums that were leaving droppings all over our back yard. Tom and Steve responded quickly and the issue appears to be resolved. Would highly recommend! Worth the peace of mind.

They certainly know what they are doing, plus there is a very cool working dog named Weilington who tracks down the wildlife.

Misidentified problem as flying squirrels when it was really grey squirrels. Refused to seal all entry points despite that being in their own contract (And this was after they did a complete inspection of the property). After the initial work, we gave it some time but the squirrel activity did not decrease. Called them and surprise - it took a week to get back to us. Apparently, they are not insured to do certain roof/chimney work and do not disclose that until after getting paid. So we still have squirrels, we have a pest company hiding behind a bad identification they did (sorry your 3-year warranty does not cover the fact we misidentified the problem), and nobody is happy. We have tried multiple times to work this out with them and nothing changes. Get peace of mind, go somewhere else.
Response from Northeast Wildlife Management, LLC
"Hi Justin, Your original call for help included having a flying squirrel in the living space and also catching a flying squirrel in a trap. We installed a digital camera and mouse traps in the attic to monitor activity after performing the flying squirrel/mouse exclusion. During the foundation seal, we discovered ground squirrels and weasel activity. We installed traps to remove the ground squirrels. The digital camera monitored mouse activity for 90 days. we revisited the property multiple times to reset snap traps for mice in the attic as well as completely remove the ground squirrel setups. At some point towards the end of the 90-day time frame, gray squirrels took residence in the tall stone chimney that is in the later stages of decay. We offered to trap gray squirrels at no additional fee until you could secure a proper vertical lift so we could access the chimney top safely and without doing damage. The original diagnosis at no time gave evidence of gray squirrel activity. The exterior exclusion work also gave no indication of gray squirrel activity. They took residence in the chimney, too unsafe to access without a lift based on our opinion and Insurance guidelines. We still honor our flying squirrel warranty and would be happy to trap for free the gray squirrels while you secure a proper lift. Please call when we can be of assistance."

Tom and Steve returned my first call quickly, and communicated right away when we had to reschedule due to weather. They had to bring an especially tall ladder to get to the third floor to remove bird debris from an uncovered dryer vent. They took care of the problem efficiently and we enjoyed meeting super sniffer Wellington who did a perimeter check of the property while they were working.

"A pleasure being of assistance and best of luck with the property."

Tom and Steve came multiple times to finally evict a family of flying squirrels from the attic. They are very quick in responding to our calls and always return my calls within 24 hours, mostly within a few minutes and come back within a day or two to address any issues we reported. I liked their approach better than other vendors I interviewed. Unless it is absolutely necessary, they chose not to harm the animals. For example, they do not use poison to get rid of mice. Instead, they took pain to seal any entry point into the house. It is certainly a lot easier to just install poison and almost all other companies I interviewed would choose. Some of them even made statement that no matter how careful you are to seal cracks, mice will get in. They are the only company who do not use poison to get rid of mice which can die inside your house as well. For flying squirrels, some other companies would seal the holes and setup trap inside attic to kill them. But Tom and Steve always setup one-way doors to let them out. The only thing they said they will have to trap and kill are red squirrels.

Tom & Steve were excellent to work with. They came to our house the day I called and went into action helping to remove the red squirrel problem we were having in our attic. They were super responsive, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone having animal issues as they rectified our issue in a matter of days. Our girls loved watching Wellington in action.

I really appreciated the work of Steve and his assistant. I was in a bind because I realized I had bats in my attic. I was informed by the inspector that most A/C companies would not work under those conditions because of disease risk. They clearly covered what was covered in the warranty. They also gave a good education on how animals get in, and which ones cannot be stopped. I hired Northeast Wildlife Management to remove bats and got a bonus when two birds, whose nest was blocking my downspout, were carefully removed too (with the nest!). They explained it was not nesting season in response to my query. They checked my new home for squirrels and mice, too. They gave me a very generous warranty and plentiful advice about gentle ways to ward off other critters that were burrowing and wreaking general havoc around the yard. Everything they did was humane. He explained they do not use poisons/bate traps for mice. Rather, they make the home into a fortress that is unattractive/impenetrable as a nesting, burrowing, homing place compared to the other options in the neighborhood. oh and by the way, all the animals inside were able to leave and not come back. I felt good that they could continue to live their lives. Also amazing: they were able to look at my neighbors and say exactly which larger, peskier animals were living in their homes, which I later learned was true! They also gave me some great advice on a small fix that would prevent ice dams and water damage in one area as well as another simple fix to an improper construction flawthat would keep out any larger animals that their methods arenâ t designed to address (i.e. if you have a very large doorway for the animals, well you kind of have to close it!). Oh, and he gave another piece of advice against roaches which I didnâ t even hire him for. What a bonus! They approached their work with good humor and a friendly attitude in blistering heat. I would recommend them and hire them again in an instant should squirrels ever appear. They are not the cheapest, but I firmly believe you get what you pay for, and it shows in the reviews and lesser warranties of the other companies I interviewed.

It is expensive, but they diagnosed the problem the day we called, (flying squirrels) and they installed something that allowed the squirrels to exit our attic, but did not let them enter or re-enter. They also guarantee their work.

When you get five stars from me, you ve earned them! I had squirrels nesting in my gutters, it s birthing season and mom had her kids and causing a lot of noise and who knows what damage! Called Northeast Wildlife Management, Steve came same day to take a look. Told me he could take care of it that week and they did beautifully. Not only did they take care of the problem humanely, they also fixed a couple other possible points of entry for critters. On top of it all, the guys were super friendly, interesting to chat with and they brought their cute four legged sidekick, Wellington. Highly recommend over a handyman for this problem.

Tom and Steve are real good people who know their business inside and out. I was interested to hear about home construction, wildlife behavior, and more. They chatted intelligently and informatively while they got the work done. I am highly optimistic that my uninvited furry and feathered tenants are looking for new homes now.

Tom and his assistant were very kind and well informed about dealing with bats, which was our specific problem. They arrived same day, which was greatly appreciated after a night of a bat flying around in our bedroom. We called them looking to solve the problem at a reasonable price, which they did and gave us an excellent warranty as well. I have already recommended them to a co-worker with the same problem.

First off the price to install a door was excessive at almost $600 for 20 minutes of work so It would have helped if Steve mentioned that they offer a coupon to help defray some cost. Steve did not see any squirrel but attached the metal contraption to my gutter in the fall and said he would return in a week to remove it. He never returned. I left him message to discuss, but he has never returned my call. My new gutter is now leaking exactly where he installed the door and with so much rain it has churned up the ground below to expose the roots of a Rhodo. This company needs to remove the door and fix the gutter leak.
Response from Northeast Wildlife Management, LLC
"G.W. while we strive to meet the expectations of everyone we serve somehow we miscommunicated regarding your gutter, fascia system. The fascia which has the gutter attached to it is no longer attached to the rafter ends. this is resulting in water flowing behind the gutter and straight down onto your rhododendron causing the roots to be exposed. The door has been removed and was never attached to the gutter in a compromising fashion. The only thing holding the gutter up in this spot is the wire mesh attached to the top of the gutter and the drip edge. We are happy to hear that the squirrels did not regain entry and our pricing included a full 1 year warranty on the entire house if they were to return. the service price was also lower then what you are stating here. very competitive if not the lowest price you would find for this scenario on the south shore including unlimited return service for 1 full year. once again we apologize for the miscommunication."
