It went terribly. The guy agreed to pay us back $85,000 but never followed through. He is a thief and con man. Don't ever hire him. His name is Richard Rolon.

Rich Rolon is a scam artist. DO NOT HIRE or trust this man. He took money from our family and never ordered a thing! We are in in process of filing with the district attorney, he owes us money through small claims court (he has been a no-show), and we have heard from many others who have had the exact same experience. If he isn't behind bars, he should be.

He took over $140,000 of our money and only the walls were painted. He signed a settlement agreement to reimburse us for just under $116,000 in four equal installments. We have only received one of these payments to date so he has defaulted on this agreement and we are still waiting for the balance due of $86,503. Do not hire this man. He is not trustworthy and does not honor his commitments.

A disaster. We have cancelled our credit cards via pay pal and square since after almost 2 months rich Rolon didn't send our furniture. He has spent all our money and now PayPal has frozen his account and he is no longer allowed on thumbtack!

Rich Rolon was very charismatic and made a great presentation. The workmen and subcontractors did excellent work, but Rich so mismanaged the job that it took a year longer than originally projected. We were billed for work that we never agreed to after it was completed and then we were extorted into paying or else the project would never be completed. Rich knowingly lied to us on multiple occasions. Stay away from this smooth talker.

"So very sorry that you were not happy with the services provided. This usually happens when The Home Depot is involved and was the manufacturer of your kitchen that you originally wanted to keep but literally fell apart during construction and caused significant delays and for that you certainly can not hold us responsible. You also can not hold us responsible for other areas of the home that needed updating and had nothing to do with us. It's a shame you can not understand how much you gained and how much in materials you were not charged for."
