It could not have gone better. I never shipped my car before and was quite apprehensive as I had heard several horror stories about missed dats and non- responsiveness, but a friend recommended I use this company. Karen Moberg answered all my questions, pick up and delivery were timely and amazingly were within walking distance of my locations and the drivers were pleasant and professional. Overall service went very well from reservation to delivery once vehicle was picked up. I did have to call back to the vender to secure a pick up date for the vehicle. Able to track the vehicle once it was picked up through their office. Driver was fantastic. He called ahead to arrange drop off time/location. Overall went smoothly and would use vendor again.

Car was delivered three days later than the latest day quoted by company. The company also told me that they transport cars directly, and stated that they are not a broker. They ARE A BROKER - ie, they have no control over the company actually doing the car transportation. I was reimbursed $100 of the $900 that I paid (upfront, which I should not have accepted). I was told transportation would be door-to-door. However, I was forced to pick up the car myself from a location in the city - transportation was NOT door-to-door.

Went well and the car showed up earlier than promised.

Went like clockwork. The only downside was there was no way to track progress online but other that that it was fantastic. I will definitely use again and recommend them highly

They were right on time as promised and did it without any issues. I actually have them transporting it again, I got a round trip.

Car arrived six days after I dropped it off at the Canton terminal. The car was in the same exact condition as it was when I dropped it off.

The Jeep did arrive 5 days late but they kept me updated and I had no other issues.  The Jeep arrived to me exactly as I had left it with them.  The delivery was made directly to my house in a residential neighborhood.

This company performed a 100% of what they said they were going to do. The driver called me and said he's picking up the car when he was in ME> an call me 1/2 hour from my house.  All went great.  I would use them again.. Thank you again.   George.

They were very good, very patience, the price was reasonable, and communication was excellent. The car got to its location fine. The driver was great and was familiar with the area, he even went and got my son from the base and brought him to the car. The price quoted was the price paid, even though the driver had a problem with his ramps and had to hire a tow truck, we were not charged for it. Jim was very upfront about the pricing and there were no hidden or extra charges.

my elderly parents hired them to transport their car to and from Florida (company was recommended by a friend who had used them a few years ago). The trip down went fine but not the return. They left Florida on Saturday 4/5 and dropped the car off to be shipped. Here it is more than a week later, 4/13, and they still haven't received the car. No one answers the phone at the company on the weekend. My parents have had to bear the expense of renting a car. Also clothing and medications that they need are in the car. Very disappointing experience.

I brought my car to their terminal in Canton, Ma. The vehicle left their terminal several days after my drop off. It took approximately 5 days to arrive at my address in FL. American Auto Brokers were not the company to actually transport my car. The company was Jack Soban out of Rhode Island who delivered my vehicle. Auto brokers are just that,brokers who negotiate prices with independent companies. I didn't have a problem with them, but if i use another transport company I would prefer to avoid the middle man and use the company itself.

I was able to track my vehicle as it was being transported and the driver called ahead 2 hours before arrival.All transactions when delivered are in cash only. My car was inspected prior to leaving the terminal with myself and a representative of the company American Auto Brokers. Upon arrival in Fl my car was in good condition and all articles were in place in my trunk that I had packed. You are allowed up to 100 lbs in your trunk but no articles inside the car are allowed.  I actually negotiated directly with Jack Soban when I shipped my vehicle back to Boston.

Answered call to their office promptly and provided a cost estimate over the phone and an anticipated deliver time of 5 to 6 days. Accepted Angie's List coupon for a discount on quoted price. Picked up car at my business location on date and time agreed. Delivered the car to Arizona 12 days later. Very pleasant  Driver called me  from the road when he was one day away and brought car right to my  house the next morning at the time he said he would be there. 
 Things I learned from this experience:
Be flexible. Delivery days really are just "anticipated" . You need to be prepared to get to the drop -off location a day or two before the anticipated deliver date and to wait  for a number of days after the anticipated date. This is not like taking an airplane or train.  When you get your car depends on when a driver and transporter are available and heading in your direction, route, road conditions etc. I rented a car for the week that I was waiting.
Head for the car wash. The amount of black,  caked on road dirt that can accumulate on your car when it is on an open transporter needs immediate attention. Mine looked like an abandoned car that had been towed from the side of the road after sitting there for months! Not a complaint, just an FYI.

Vehicle was to be in Fort Meyers, FL terminal on January 7, 2014. Because of weather and size of vehicle it arrived at Fort Myers terminal on Friday January 10. Because of Jet Blue's storm problems I arrived at Fort Meyers Airport on Jan 11. I called the terminal on Jan 10 to tell them my flight info for Jan 11. Terminal personal were waiting for me at the airport and transported me to my vehicle. Given the circumstances it went well. The cost reflected the size and weight of the diesel Excursion.

They were very professional, car was picked up when promised & delivered earlier than expected.  All communication was clear, friendly & professional.

They give the service that I really wanted, because what I wanted when I arrive at the airport to be able to have my own car and that's what they do. You call them, they bring you your own car, of course you give them about a week before you leave this will give them the time to transport it. And when you're going to leave Florida you bring it to the terminal and they will take you to the airport and they will take the car and transport it, which is exactly the service that I wanted. I never find any of those company that you look at. What they do if I want and book it immediately, they gave me a discount and leave me paying $1600 for both ways. They are very professional and very courteous. I'd like to stay 3 months in Florida, so just sending my own car already is a bonus for me and then I save from $3000 for renting a car.

I compared different transport companies. 850 was just a but on the high side but just barely. I chose them because of proximity to us and they have been in business over 30 years. Everything started well. They were helpful on the phone and pleasant. The car was scheduled for pick up on a Thursday This was 6 days prior to the date it was to be delivered in Florida. We received two phone calls keeping us posted regarding the pick up. The calls were professional and informative
The car was picked up right in schedule. The following Tuesday I decided to call to find out if the car was in Florida as it was due the following day and it was now five days after pickup.

When I made the phone call on that Tuesday, I was informed the car was still in the lot in Canton. The excuse was that the driver had a problem with the truck. I was told the car would be going out that night at the latest. The company representative was not polite and told me they make no guarantees on delivery. That could be debated in my opinion. On Thursday morning I called. The Company told me to call the driver if the truck and gave me his name and cell number. When I spoke to him he informed me the car would be at the local Palm Beach facility for it to be delivered to me by that evening. He told me he was in Jacksonville Florida.

That is about a four hour drive to Palm Beach Finally at about 4pm or 4:30 I was informed it was now in the local facility. I was then told it was too late for it to be delivered to me until Friday morning. I was told by the representative at the local facility that my car would be the first car delivered Friday morning, by 8:30 Friday morning required another call. The local facility said they were very busy and I would have the car by noon. I think we got it by 11:00.

In the final analysis my car was picked up in Massachusetts on a Thursday morning. I received it 8 days later in Florida, two days after the agreed upon delivery time. The company was polite and professional until problems arose. Big I had not called on Tuedsay, 5 days after the car was picked up, I doubt I would have been informed of anything. I was not offered anything for the delay. I didn't even receive an apology
