YAYLA TRIBAL RUGS

When I came to pick up my rugs, one of them had a red stain that wasn't there when I brought it in. They didn't even tell me about it - if I hadn't inspected the rugs at the store, I wouldn't have known until I got home. They said they would remove the stain, and it would take few days and they would call me when the rug was ready. After about a month of waiting, calling, visiting the store (they never called me once), I looked at the rug and the red stain was gone, but the area around the original stain was bleached lighter than the surrounding area. At this point the owner admitted that the rug was damaged beyond repair and told me what had happened originally - they had laid my wet rug face down on top of another wet rug and the color from the other rug bled onto mine. The owner offered to give me a rug of equal value - half of what I had paid ten years earlier at another store. My wife and I looked at every eligible rug, and even brought several home, but nothing worked in the space. We saw another rug we liked of a different style than the rugs he offered, that was about $300 more expensive. I thought that it would be fair for us to take the "more expensive" rug and pay just $100 - to compensate us for the hardship of losing a treasured rug and being without a rug for so long. The ownwer refused, so we paid the full $300. I was very unsatisfied with every aspect of my experience there and would never bring my business there again.
