Seth arrived to check out the situation exactly when scheduled, then came back precisely on time with a crew. They took out every bit of the growth (including what we originally thought was a shrub that had made it to tree status and grown through the neighbors' fence) within a day and hauled away a truckload of material. Seth was incredibly helpful through the process, offering advice for future plantings and making a plan to have someone come back to spray the dreaded knotweed ands other intruders. Overall, it was a great experience.

Not well. A number of the plants are dead after only a couple of years and he never came back to finish the job despite repeated requests.

Seth came, and with two helpers, got rid of the tree limb quickly.
They cleaned up nicely afterwards.
My only quibble was that he didn't email me a receipt as he'd mentioned.

On short notice, Seth and Mr. B showed up as promised and worked to complete the job.  Seth and his crew are a joy to work with.  Always professional and diligent.  Real expertise with plants.  Seth has great advice and is enjoyable to talk o.  He has also referred me to other, equally diligent and professional colleagues for other services - hardscaping, irrigation, lighting.  Seth is not cheap but is worth what you pay.  I expect to continue this relationship for a long time.

They are simply wonderful. Everyone of the crew members was a delight. Helpful, smart, and hardworking. Very knowledgeable.

Seth and I reviewed the landscape design he drew and discussed plant options, where to buy the healthiest plants (for me as I wanted to do the planting myself). He and his team were prompt in arriving to install the bluestone borders, arranging soil and organic compost in a lovely rock garden format, and transplanted a large bush into the garden. 

The job took a day or two, he and his team were prompt and considerate and left a clean space. 

Over that winter, unbeknownst to me, Seth planted tulips he bought for me on a trip to Holland. Each year, they emerge and I'm continuously reminded of Seth's kindness in the absolute beauty of this garden.

I get billed for his services. He is very knowledgeable and organic and knows his stuff. He knows about composting, weed control and pest control, and symbiotic gardening. I will continue to use him.

Seth has been doing the weeding and leaf removal for our condo association for many years, so when we decided to upgrade the landscaping for the common areas, he was one of the two contractors we contacted to get a design proposal and price estimate. Over the course of two on-site meetings, Seth spent at least 2 1/2 hours with me and another unit owner discussing requirements and talking over ideas. We were not an easy crew to please - some unit owners were mainly concerned with keeping the price down, while others had very specific (and sometime conflicting) ideas about what they wanted. Seth was patient throughout and used his extensive knowledge of plants to come up with options and suggestions. A week after our initial meeting, he provided a very detailed price estimate (which we were able to use to decide exactly where to cut back to meet our budget), and the following week a plant plan (which he produced during his vacation to give us time to get approval from all of the unit owners). His price was somewhat higher than the second contractor's, but his estimate was significantly more detailed, he did a better job responding to our concerns, and he provided a two-year warranty on new plants, so we hired him for the job. The only real hiccup we encountered were snafus around nailing down the implementation schedule, but ultimately, the work was completed over the course of two days, and Seth stayed late the first night so we could arrange some of the plants together when I got home from work. Overall, Seth went above-and-beyond throughout the course of this project, and our new landscaping looks great.

Seth and his team are extremely intelligent, diligent and courteous.  They are very knowledgeable about plants, unlike many in this business.  Their work is terrific.  They charge what they are worth and that is a lot.

He is absolutely fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and he spent hours with me planning what the yard would look like. He is very polite and he educated me on the environment. He is an earth keeper and I really like him.

He is a certified ecological landscape contractor. He is very intelligent and reliable. He is very honest and hard working. I give him an A-plus. He is not a bargain but he is worth every penny. I guess he charges what he is worth. He has worked for me for years.
