Masonry Work
WE FIRED HIM AFTER HE STARTED THE JOB BECAUSE OF GROSS INCOMPETENCE AND A PATTERN OF LYING AND NO-SHOWS. IT WAS AN 11' BY 40 FT WALL. AFTER HE BUILT 4 FT IT WAS CLEAR THAT IT WAS OUT OF CODE(NO PERMIT), CROOKED, ON A POOR BASE, AND OF QUESTIONABLE MATERIALS FOR A JOB OF THIS SIZE. MASONS THAT WE SHOWED IT TO WERE APPALLED BY HIS WORK AND THE FACT THAT HE LEFT 20 TONS OF DEBRIS IN MY BACK NEIGHBORS YARD FOR 6 WEEKS! HE WANTED 1/2 UP FRONT (5,750). HE REFUSED TO REFUND OUR MONEY OR CLEAN UP THE DEBRIS. FURTHERMORE, WHEN I ASKED HIM IF HE WAS PERSONALLY A LICENSED MASON, HE SAID 'NO, BUT I CAN WORK UNDER MY FATHER'S LICENSE. GO AHEAD AND SUE ME!' P.S. HIS FATHER IS IN A NURSING HOME. ANOTHER GREAT QUOTE WAS, 'WHY ARE YOU SO STRESSED? YOU HAVE MY CELL PHONE CALL ME AND I'LL COME OVER AT MIDNIGHT AND GIVE YOU A MASSAGE..'
