Scott William Grady Architect, Inc. works effectively to create environments that enhance people's lives at home, whether through modest renovations, or substantial new construction. SWG Architect has been providing exceptional residential design services in Boston, and Winchester, Massachusetts and surrounding communities as well as the Cape and Islands since 1996. We feel it is important to create environments which not only meet client's needs, but will withstand the test of time and be appropriate for years to come. Our design style, while unique, is flexible with the client's goals and neighborhood context, with the finished product always reflecting the individuality of the client. * He is very responsive.
* He listens carefully to what I want, but also offers ideas and is not reluctant to let me know when I thinks my ideas might not be the best
* He works quickly to come up with designs -- and the folks on his team do a great job creating the design specifications and drawings that are needed.
* He is extremely patient and good natured ---- accompanies me to find the right materials like tiles, fixtures, and so forth.
* At various times, conflicts or difficulties (always) arise on home renovation projects between vendors, contractors, workers, etc.... and Scott is great at navigating those rough waters when they happen.
I think the most important thing has been --- on this an other projects (a major kitchen, deck, bathroom renvation, renovation to another home in Natick) is that Scott provides a creative vision that is beyond what I could come up with myself ---- he builds on my ideas but sees greater possibilities. Often I have the reaction "Wow! I never thought of that...!" which is exactly what you want in an architect. He also is really a pleasure to work with, which makes the whole process better.
I would highly recommend him.
