Their price was at least 50% lesser than the same estimate that was given by Apple. It was definitely reasonable since they were lower than the other people. My experience with them was very good. They were honest and quick. They were much faster than they said they would be and their price was good.

I took in a dead laptop and a dead desktop. The clerk who signed me in at the service desk was exceptionally careful to ascertain my problem with the machines, and she got one of the tech guys to help do a rapid assessment of the desktop. Micro center can be very busy. the service desk and returns desk are adjacent and seem to share. Although there was a line intermittently, the staff seemed to be doing a very good job at accurately assessing each customer's issues. I spent about 15 minutes (waiting for one of the computers to be assessed) and therefore got to watch in some detail. I was very impressed.

What I don't particularly like about this particular business is that they try to sell you on stuff you don't need. It s the only really big computer service center out here though, so basically I will continue to use them. They are pushy sometimes and that kind of bothers me. They also took longer than they said to repair my computer. Their prices are more or less fair, I guess, or average.

I'm a computer scientist so I know the field. The service and repair department over there is pretty good. They get your computer back to you in a reasonable amount of time and to be honest, there are really not too many repair places left to use in this area. I know a lot of people go over to Best Buy, but I can't say I've had any personal experiences with them. In general, I think this company is great. They are who I use and I would recommend them to others.
