Description of Work: In short, they didn't finish a rehab job entirely. Communication became very poor. Lots of promises of completion dates were made and we went weeks/months over every one of those dates. Interior rehab was mostly finished in May 2014 with some exterior work left to do. Sadly, communication stopped entirely on their part at the end of July 2014 and we went through a legal dispute to recover our losses including hiring someone else to finish the outside work. Very dissatisfied with the eventual outcome of our agreement

We set up an appointment for this company to look at our project, which involved our neighbor as well, so we were coordinating three schedules. I called when they were 20 minutes late and learned that they thought it was the next evening. We couldn't do that time, so I said we'd call back after checking our neighbor's schedule. We finally decided to go ahead without the neighbors and I called to make an appointment and waited a day and called again. No reply. Before writing this up, I called one more time (a few weeks ago now) to say I hoped everything was ok and to please call, so we could continue to discuss the work. No reply.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON THE STRUCTURAL WORK: FRAMING, EXTERIOR WALLS, ROOFING, INTERIOR FRAMING. THE INTERIOR FINISH WORK TOOK A LOT LONGER AND RECEIVED LESS ATTENTION FROM THE COMPANY, BUT THE OVERALL RESULT IS BEAUTIFUL. PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. CARPENTERS WERE GREAT - VERY SKILLED, A PLEASURE TO HAVE AROUND. SUBCONTRACTORS WERE A LITTLE HARDER TO WORK WITH, BUT EVENTUALLY EVERYTHING GOT DONE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR MAJOR STRUCTURAL JOBS: ADDITIONS, ADDING A NEW FLOOR, MAJOR CHANGES TO THE INTERIOR FLOOR PLAN. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR BASIC INTERIOR REMODELING.
Description of Work: WE HAD AN UNFINISHED ATTIC ON THE 3RD FLOOR. THEY ADDED A DORMER, BUILT A NEW STAIRCASE, AND PUT IN 3 BEDROOMS AND A BATHROOM. MOST CONTRACTORS WERE NOT INTERESTED IN THE JOB BECAUSE THE FRAMING WAS VERY DIFFICULT, BUT THEY DID THE FRAMING AND EXTENDED THE ROOF IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS. INTERIOR WORK INCLUDED SUBCONTRACTING FOR & INSTALLING PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, HARDWOOD FLOORS, PLASTERING, PAINTING, DOORS, WINDOWS, SKYLIGHTS.
