Tracey was extremely professional and very thorough in her inspection. She gave very detailed insights both during the walkthrough and within her comprehensive follow-up report. Each item listed on the inspection was thoughtfully categorized and included photo complements to help me get a better understanding. I'm extremely pleased with the service provided and would gladly hire Tracey for a future inspection.

Tracey is a brilliant home inspector. She has been meticulous, thorough, and most importantly, went out of her way to explain things carefully. We do not have much experience, but Tracey explained to us nicely in every detail. She asked whether we had a kid and explained all safety guidelines with that respect. Most importantly, her report was so detailed and thorough that the seller agreed to give full credit to the buyer.

Tracey was amazing. She was super responsive to our initial inquiry, and was able to schedule an inspection within days of initial contact. During the inspection, she was friendly, informative, and super thorough. Afterwards, she managed to turn around a complete report on her findings THE SAME DAY. Tracey was extremely thorough, professional and pleasant to work with. Right from the get-go she gave me a clear outline of what to expect, a layout of how the Home Inspection Report would be formatted, and she assured me that everything she mentioned to me in person would be represented in the report in greater detail (it was). Tracey was very professional and very thorough with her home inspection. We are so impressed with how much details she was paying attention to. She wrote a 80 page report and listed all the things needs to be fixed as well as important things we should pay attention to. We would highly recommend her and her service to anyone. I think that the inspection went very well. We had an inspection clause in our offer and the sellers were eager to have the inspection done quickly so they could get their place back on the market if we didn't buy it. Litt Home Inspection conducted the inspection the next day. The inspection was very thorough and Tracey provided a great deal of insight into how to proceed. I can't comment on the costs since, given the time constraints, I didn't shop around like I usually do. The price seemed reasonable compared to what I've seen in other markets. Would hire again.

I have been to a few inspections myself so I know how most inspectors work. However, Tracey really opened my eyes. She's very thorough, organized and detailed. And she explains everything to us very clearly and patiently. Her report is also very professional and organized and has lots of pictures so we have a visual of each section that have been inspected on. We are very impressed with Tracey. Tracy was fantastic. Her approach was incredibly thorough and her report, along with pictures, was very detailed. Having the pictures to accompany the issues she uncovered made for a much smoother negotiation with the sellers, as it eliminated doubt about the need for repair. She was also really helpful with recommendations for how to schedule repairs and replacements, how to connect with MassSave and get assistance on energy efficiency projects. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a home inspector!

Great! Tracey did an incredible job, seemingly identifying every current and soon-to-be issue with the home. It helped us negotiate our home purchase because we got the important things done by the seller. And it also gave us the list of things we need to be thinking about over the next few years. Tracey was fantastic. She arrived early, inspecting the outside of the condo in extreme rain and wind before we arrived. Once we got there, she spent another three hours walking through the basement, common areas, and unit with us, explaining everything in a great level of detail. We received an incredibly detailed report with photos and clear indications of what should be addressed immediately and what were things she noticed that could be addressed longer-term. The report was sent on the same day as the inspection. She answered a follow-up question within hours and let us know she was available for as long as we were in the home.

Tracey arrived even earlier than I did (and I'm always early) and was in the process of inspecting the outside of the property when I arrived. She continued to inspect the condo explaining things along the way. We chatted about things "she would do if this was her house" that was very helpful. There is a finished basement in the condo. She said it was optimal to have a dehumidifier in the utility room but that a vent in the finished space was needed to bring the humid air into the dehumidifier in the closed utility room. It made sense to both myself and the builder when this was presented to him. She found things that were necessary to do and suggested things. All in all, a very professional yet warm and friendly 2 1/2 hour inspection. I would definitely recommend Tracey Litt for any home inspection you might need.

Tracy was awesome. We loved her. The house had a lot of issues, which was anticipated since part of the home was built in the 1860's. She was through, detail oriented, and informative without being alarmist. Her thoughtful explanations on issues we were not familiar with was invaluable. We will definitely use her again, and highly reccomend her to all our friends or anyone looking for a fantastic home inspector to guilde them in their home buying process.

Tracey was incredible. She came at a moment's notice (through our real estate broker,) to inspect the home we are about to buy.
She sent our a contract on line, told us the cost up front, and what services in the inspection we should call.
She is punctual, thorough, friendly, and explains everything as we go along. Her reports are meticulous, giving the exact order of magnitude in which to address issues that come up when inspecting a home.
