Sweeney Excavating

Sweeney Excavating did an excellent job prepping the site and installing the pavers for our home. We have received lots of compliments and our neighbor is having Mike and his team do their driveway this spring.

Several repairs were needed for a paving stone parking area about 10 years after initial installation by company that has since gone out of business.  The repairs required were 1)  correction of local depression that had developed due to to storage of heavy boat on a trailer and 2) cleaning out of accumulated soil in gaps between pavers and re-application of polymeric sand gap filler.   I tried contacting many paving stone installers for this relatively small job.  Only Mike Sweeney responded and was willing to help me out with this problem even though I know he had to squeeze me in to a busy schedule.    While I do not exactly what a job of this type should cost and I do not think Mike was exceptionally inexpensive, I thought his price was reasonable given the nature of the project and the circumstances.

Mike and his crew were very competent and thorough in the initial repair.   Unfortunately a problem developed in the repaired area due to the extremely heavy load of stored boat and the type of edge stone retainer that Mike routinely uses, apparently without problem in other applications.  Upon examination of the problem, Mike immediately volunteered to fix the problem at his expense and this time around to set all the edge stones in concrete.  He made the 2nd round repair in a timely way and with excellent workmanship.  In this entire process Mike Sweeney's primary concerns appeared to be job quality and complete customer satisfaction.

Based on Mike Sweeney's professionalism and integrity,  quality of  work, fair pricing, and dedication to customer satisfaction, I would definitely use the Services of Sweeney Excavating again and recommend this company to others.
