Cape Cod Moving & Storage

I had arranged for several movers to meet me at a new residence on Cape Cod to unload a truck and move me from one condo to another. At the set date and time, no movers showed up and calls to the many different numbers listed on their website rang through to voicemail. I left several messages, none of which were returned.
Several days later, I did reach somebody on the phone, who assured me that I was on their calendar for moving help and that, while she had no idea what could have happened, she would follow-up and get back to me. Not surprisingly, she never did.

The estimator was a lovely gentleman and extremely professional.  The price was good.  The problem was that the packing was atrocious.  Things were thrown around.  A lamp was broken; another was damaged.  Things were thrown in boxes.  There were four young men; maybe one of them just didn?t care.

They worked hard.  They were on time, and were there exactly when they said they would be; they were waiting on me when I got here.  They were reasonable.  We are trying to weed through all of the boxes because they just weren?t sorted well.  I don?t think I would have bothered had I known ahead of time.  It was not an A or B experience. 

The moving part was okay, though.  They actually worked really hard.  We just didn?t realize about the packing until just now.  You have to be careful with putting heavy duty things like computer equipment with vases and the like.  They inter-mingled things that should not be inter-mingled.  So, even though the box is labeled something that?s not necessarily what?s inside.
