 + -1 moreIt went very well. Jeff came and disconnected the heating pipe and looped it into the basement so the heat could keep running just prior to demolition and construction. This work was being done in January so we wanted to be sure he would come back promptly in about two or three weeks when the door and windows were in and the drywall had been done so the new baseboards could be go in. When he came to do the work within one day of the day requested, he did the work professionally and as we had planned. The system works great and we are happy we didn't buy the larger baseboard because we did not need it. We were happy he didn't try to oversell the job.
Description of Work: The company replaced our existing baseboard heating in the living room, dining room and foyer with slant fin 30 baseboards. The estimate given prior to their being selected for the job was submitted in writing. It was done very promptly. When we had questions changes were made without difficulty. Jeff's suggestion to to look at slant fin 80 baseboard before we went with the 30 was an excellent suggestion. No other company made this suggestion. He said it had a commercial look and didn't think it was appropriate for us to use because his experience had been people thought it too large after it was installed. He also didn't think we needed more BTU's than the slant fin 30 would give us. We thought we needed it because we were adding so much glass to our dining room and another company had said we needed it. We were glad we looked at a sample because we agreed with Jeff, it looked like commercial product, i.e. was very large. As a result we decided to go with the slant fin 30.
