Torres Tile

The backsplash came out pretty good, but with a lot of correction from my wife while she was home with the contractor Paul brought in.  The real problem started with the estimate.  It took the wife and I hours to figure out what the details of the estimate, and when asked to sit with him and discuss, he had no idea as well.  We should have stopped right then.  But the real problem was the custom shower.  It took Paul about a week to not even get half way through the job and brought in another contractor, who did not have a clue on what he was doing.  A few days of a painful process of tiling all day and ripping down the tile each night was the result.  Paul was instructed to finish himself, he then brought in another contractor to complete the job.  We asked him to leave the house and feel this job was much more difficult than he could perform.  I really wish he would have been honest and just said it was too much for him and moved on.  Instead we're out a lot of money and nobody wants to touch where he left off as it's not quality work.  Overall, this mess will most likely cost me another $5,000 to fix, and I had to buy more material because they wasted so much.  I would never recommend this company to anyone.  Look elsewhere, you're better off!

He is the best guy I've had to do tile work. I would definitely recommend him. I think he is really meticulous and clean. He was prompt, professional and friendly. I was very happy with his work. He is licensed, bonded and insured. I am going to have him re grout my kitchen tile. He goes the extra mile.

Paul performed the work on schedule and we were very happy with the result. The tiles were aligned perfectly and the grout work was superb. Paul even repaired some previous wall tile damage in our bathroom for no charge even though it was not part of the job scope.We had other contractors performing work in the house at the same time and they commented how perfectly the tile had been installed. Paul is a perfectionist who takes his time to make sure the job is done right. We will be using Paul for any future tile work and we highly recommend him.
