The Granite Place Inc

I’ve just get a granite countertop fabricated and installed by the Granite Place. Looks beautiful! We visited many granite yards in the area and finally found a perfect granite slab in The Granite Place. The fact that you have a granite supplier and a granite fabricator in one place (The Granite Place) is convenient and results in a lower price of your countertop. Carol, the owner, was involved in the processed and accommodated our requests. The fabricator and installer, Bruno, did an excellent job; the seam (which was unavoidable) is almost invisible. Highly recommend the company.

They had a far better selection of granite for less money than a popular place in Watertown we first went to based upon an angies list deal.  There was another place that had a slightly better deal on Uba Tuba granite but we liked the Verde Butterfly better and liked that they are a small local operation who seem to know their business pretty well and had the actual slabs on the premise.  They also guaranteed us we'd get our L-shaped counter as a single piece while other places only said they would try to accomplish that. The whole process took about two weeks from when we picked the granite until our new kitchen/bath were installed.   Everything went about as smoothly as possible, although there are inevitable hiccups.  The sink I chose was the maximum size that would fit in our cabinet which meant their hanging brackets didn't fit so they had to build custom brackets to hold it in place while they were here.
Basically, other than the effort of me removing old counters and re-attaching drains/faucets, there were two visits of 1.5-2.5 hours and my kitchen went from dull to very nice.
