The entire experience was excellent!  On time to complete both the initial quote and to complete the work.  The price quoted was very fair, and he was able to come back to complete the work much faster than I expected since spring is when everyone is getting housework done! 
The work was completed beautifully, and was all done within two days.  We couldn't be happier with the results.  It's like the water damage from an ice dam this winter never happened!

This is the place to go if you have old ceilings you want to repair, not replace.

Rick did a nice job and was punctual.  He covered everything and cleaned up after himself when he was finished.  If I need work done in the future I'll definitely contact again.

Rick has been doing this sort of work for 30 years and his experience was evident from the start. He was punctual, arriving out front within a minute of the scheduled time, and quickly set to work in an efficient way to get the job done. (I happened to be home, and so was able to track his progress hour by hour.) I didn't have to explain what I wanted a second time; rather, he remembered it all precisely from our first conversation. When he encountered an unexpected complication in the course of the work, he solved it promptly and effectively on his own. The completed job was perfectly brought off without a wasted minute. Everything Rick needed he had handy in his truck, including plastic tarps to cover exposed areas, a giant fan to speed drying of the plaster and paint, a vacuum to remove dust and debris, even a radio for his background music. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. The plastering was masterful, so well done that you can't even see it, and the painting was just the same. I recommend Rick Howard without reservation.
