This was my first experience with O'Brien PlumbingWorks. They replaced my hot water tank and repaired bathroom sinks. They did an excellent job. They were punctual, professional, easy to work with, gave me some good advice, etc. I will definitely call them again for plumbing work in the future.

I have been hiring O'Brien Plumbingworks for ten years. They always do a quality job, guarantee their work, and are generally great people. Anytime we've had an emergency they always make sure to take care of us. My dog loves them, and you probably will too.

We had a water tank failure overnight. I posted a request on O'Brien PlumbingWorks in the morning the next day and got a response back very quick. Pete the owner called me in the afternoon and scheduled to come next day. Max showed up on the day of schedule, diagnosed the issue that the tank needs to be replaced. He went in his truck to find the price of the tank and gave me a very reasonable quote. Within 2-3 hours window, he installed a brand new water tank - this included the time he had to go out to get the tank and a 2nd trip to the store for a pipe to make it look nicer :-) Max is amazing!! He is very polite, very experienced albeit at he young age, conscientious with all his customers, thorough and efficient. I couldn't be happier as it is unimaginable to be out of hot water in this extremely cold weather and snow. Thank you Max! I will highly recommend Pete and Max at O'Brien PlumbingWorks to any home.

There is a constant stream of water leaking from the bucket outlet while showering. The contractor said that was "expected behavior" but I haven't seen it anywhere else. This also resulted in lower water pressure.

Pete was responsive and prompt. He fixed my flange and installed two toilets for me. I had done some of the work in advance which was reflective of the cost plus supplied the materials at my cost. It would be higher if starting from scratch. Highly recommended

He fixed the issue but charged me twice what he quoted me on the phone. He charged $125 for the material which should costs less than $25. He also charged more labor saying he needed two people to do the job, but the job was simple and could be done by one person. It took him 15 minutes to change the part. Make sure that you get proper estimate from him before he starts work. He totally overcharged me and twice the estimate he quoted me on the phone. All he did was replacing a silcock.

"i installed a new silcock to replace one that was broken inside the wall it was told to her that i charge 150 an hour for 1 man plus materials this valve was tied into plastic piping so another man came by to help so we did not damage the plastic pipe in ceiling ,one man outside and 1 inside it took us 35 minutes to get the old one disconnected and out due to accessibility in a bay and new one in ,i charged her 50 extra dollars for his help. 1 hour at $150 plus$ 125 for3 feet copper pipe, adapters and silcock and and 50 dollars for extra man which i could have charged 150 more but i dont work like that .i try to be fair with all my customers unfortunately not all my customer are the fair"

Pete and Max were great, they replaced the bad sections of pipe and fixed the leak in half an hour. Pete also identified the cause of our separate shower leak, and will be back with a new part to take care of that as well. Highly recommend!

Quick response within a day and they were at the house in two days to unclog the drain near the laundry room and downstairs shower. They did a great job, unclogged the drain for the shower fast. I would highly recommend them again for another job.

I have been without running water for a week. Would not recommend this vendor. We hired O'briens to help with our kitchen / bathroom renovation. They cancelled my sink/shower installation 4 times and at the time of this review, I have been without running water for a week.

"i dont like to call poeple dishonest but i worked to replace all gas and got it inspected i roughed in a new tub toilet and sink replaced all stops and piping ,i had to wait on all her contractors [non f which were licenced in mass] so the work they added to my schedule was big i finished all until the counter top companey which was the hold up , 2 weeks also hired by her they finished up on monday afternoon the 11th i was to start my finish work on tuesday and i got the flu [she did not care and thought that i should dicount my work because i was sick for 2 days [she had water the entire time we temped the sink so she would ] also i set the toilet temperarelly so it could be used i called her and said no discount because of me illness and she told me she would get some else to finish ,,,i said if thats what you want to do please do that .so i did not return to finish up but her story doent hold truth you cant make everyone happy but i always try anyway"

First time using O'Brien and won't be the last. Peter was great. I was able to schedule the work in a few days. Peter is knowledgeable, cost is fair and reasonable and work performed was excellent. Peter is also a very nice person. Definitely recommend O'Brien PlumbingWorks.

Everything was great! Peter got back to me right away after my initial phone call. Work was scheduled for 2 days later. He arrived right on time, installed the new faucet I had purchased and even replaced a corroded piece of pipe which I didn't know about until he started. A super nice guy as well. Highly recommended.

Pete and his son did an excellent job replacing our leaky faucet and installing our a faucet. He was was prompt in responding to our request and very professional. He suggested replacing the old one and we are so glad he did that. No more ugly leaky faucet. We love the new one. The only thing we regret is waiting so long to have it done. We will definitely call O'Brien in the future for our plumbing needs.

Work was great, Pete showed up as expected and installed everything to complete satisfaction. Love the new softener as well as the fixed kitchen faucet. He will now be in my rotation for any plumbing that I may need in the future. Courteous, professional and clean work. Awesome job!

Great communication, reasonable quote, and professional. Pete gave me a quote over e-mail (photos with description of work). which I found convenient. Many plumbers will not give you a quote until they come out for any job. He missed one appointment due to a prior job that extended (boiler) but came as promised on the second appointment, got the job done on quote as promised. Great communication and pleasant person to work with. I would definitely hire again.

I contacted O'Brien PlumbingWorks after reading reviews on Angie's list. Pete responded within a few hours and was able to come the next day to see what was going on. He diagnosed a number of possible places the leak could be coming from around the bathtub and sealed and tightened things up. He was very friendly and efficient. I haven't seen any leaking so far so I am hoping we found the problem. His rates seemed fair and he seems like an honest guy. I will definitely use him in the future.

I have employed Peter in the past. He was on time, and performed the replacement quickly. The installation was perfect. He also adjusted a pipe connection which the house builder had not properly tightened. Peter is skillful and experienced, as well as pleasant and congenial. I recommend him highly.
