Gracious, friendly and professional - 38 years experience and it shows. Took time to explain additional things to me as a first time home owner to watch out for, as well. Just generally nice guy. Thanks, Tom!

Was there on time - took about 3 hours. Very clean job, took great care in masking off everything. Fully explained what to do after he left. Came out great. Tom is a very nice guy who obviously knows what he is doing and does it very well.

Tom called the day before to confirm the appointment. The bathroom was completely remodeled prior to calling him. He was very careful to mask off everything and didn't get anything on the tile or the floor. Very professional and a very friendly guy. The job took about 3-4 hours and it looks brand new. Don't hesitate to hire him. He's awesome.

Tom came in and did a great job. Very professional, and punctual. Had everything covered up and since I did not have a window in the bathroom, he was equipped with a box fan and hose that was able to vent out a window in another room. The finished product looks amazing and brand new. I started to do it myself with a kit from Home Depot and immediately knew I was in over my head. He gave complete, clear instructions on what to do or not do to keep this finish lasting for years to come. Would definitely hire him again!!

Part of the bathtub was cracked and peeling. Tom came and refinished the problem area. The job was done quickly and at reasonable cost. It now looks good.

Well, you get what you pay for. His was a middle-of-the-road price, and I got a middle-of-the-road job. The tub definitely looks better, but there was white glaze on the inside of the shower stall and on the tile flooring. Some of it could be scraped off and some couldn't. He also didn't do a very good job of cleaning up after himself. It was average, which I guess is what a C rating is.

It went exactly as planned. Tom had several very helpful conversations with me on the phone and followed through with everything he said he would do. The tub looks great. The bathroom needed a bit of a vacuum after he left but this was not big deal. I would totally hire him again.

I called my plumber to discuss replacing our old and off-color tub and he clued me in to the fact that even fiberglass tubs could be reglazed (I'd previously only known that could be done with ceramic and porcelain). I turned to Angie's List and called a few places, eventually settling on Mobile based on a combination of reviews, pricing, and scheduling.
In preparation, I emptied the bathroom cabinets and cleared out everything that would move.
Mobile (I'm terrible with names) arrived on schedule and set to work getting ready. The prep took far longer than the actual reglazing as he taped off areas and prepped the surface. Since the bathroom doesn't have a window, he used a fan and a long expanding tube to ventilate through another room. The end result was stunning. The tub/surround was old, lime-scaled, and almond (which didn't match anything else in the room), and by the end, it was pure white and brand new, which also makes the room feel much brighter. A few weeks later, when a plumber was in to hook up a new sink, he could not believe it wasn't a new installation.
I was told the smell (which permeated most of the apartment) would be gone in a few hours, but it took quite a bit longer. While he was working, I hung a sheet in a doorway to try to keep the smell contained to the bathroom+hall, but it wasn't entirely successful, and I wish he had provided some sort of barrier himself. If you have a bathroom window that can remain open (so the door can be shut), that shouldn't be as much of a problem, and the smell just can't be avoided in this sort of process.
But the reason for the less-than-perfect score was because of less-than-perfect cleaning. The wall cabinet in the bathroom was covered with a thick layer of dust (I assume from the pre-glaze sanding). I was told I hadn't had to clear out the contents of that cabinet, but I'm glad I did, or I would have had to throw away much of what was inside. I also had to vacuum dust off the floors around the bathroom after. While annoying, these issues were not enough to dissuade me from using Mobile again in the future should I need the service, but being aware of it may be useful for others.

I was in a hurry to have a bathtub re glazed with a color change. I read several reviews on Angie's List about this company so contacted them. He got back in touch with me very quickly and scheduled the job quickly. I didn't have a chance to compare prices so I don't know if his price was in line with other tub refinishers. Overall I was very happy with the service.

Tom was very responsive to our initial inquiry and accommodating in scheduling a mutually convenient date for the work. Tom arrived a little earlier than he expected and began to work on our tub immediately. He completely covered any of the surfaces that were in proximity to the area to be refinished in order to be sure they were not inadvertently sprayed. Tom worked efficiently and took great care to not disturb or damage the rest of the bathroom. He completed the work well within the time frame he originally quoted and cleaned up completely. He explained how to maintain the new surface in detail and made suggestions for ways to keep the tub looking good. Tom was friendly, professional, and did a fantastic job on our tub. It looks brand new and we are very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Tom Quinn to anyone looking to do this type of improvement.

A very old white tub and original 4 foot white tile walls were refinished. They were chipped as well as yellowed. After stripping them and patching where necessary, they were painted with an acrylic paint. They are now a beautiful, shiny, pure white. The whole bathroom now looks brand new. I liked it so much, that we had them do the bathroom in the rental apartment.

Our service person arrived on time. He was professional and friendly. He worked very hard for over 3 hours and left us instructions to care for our newly painted tub. It has been a month and it has held up beautifully. It looks like a brand new bathtub. I would highly recommend Mobile Refinishing.

Called for an estimate and after describing the size and condition of the bathtub they gave me a quote of $500 over the phone and told me it would take approximately 4 hours to do the job. They showed up on time and completed the job in the time and for the price that they quoted. When finished they provided a small amount of touch up paint in case I was to drop something on the tub and chip the finish at sometime in the future. The bathtub and tiles look brand new. They did a wonderful job.

Tom showed up right at 8:00 o'clock as scheduled. He brought an exhaust
fan for the window and drop cloths which kept the bathroom nice and
clean. Took about 3 hours after which the tub looks amazing, better than
expected and over $100 dollars less than other quotes I received.
Extremely courteous and professional. Highly recommended. Gives a 5 year
warranty but I have a feeling it won't be necessary.

I found him on Angie's List and he was outstanding. He was a joy to talk to and was excellent. I spent the whole day with him and he was fascinating to talk to; it was worth the time to talk to him about bathroom and project refinishing as well as household repairs. He has a wealth of knowledge and did an excellent job. He showed up and took as long as he was supposed to; there were no issues. Tom was neat, clean and his work has held up.

I think that certain areas that weren't supposed to get sprayed weren't covered up enough. There was a haze left on the aluminum framing around the shower door and around the entire frame of the unit. I called him the day after he came out because there was a chunk of glaze left on a towel rack. He said I should remove it with a razor. I thought that a bad idea and ended up removing it myself in another way. I called him yesterday to see if there was anything I could do about the haze and he has not called back. The thing that I am upset about is that before he left he should have looked everything over and made any adjustments to mistakes.
Response from Mobile Refinishing
"It was a $1300.00 job I did it for 700.00 and patch floor for nothing. She had a tiny bit of paint on something and I told her to scrape it off and a small stain on door frame should be washed off."

Not well. I very much regret this project.
