It was extremely easy to work with Leader Bank to secure a MassHousing loan. Jeff Esterkes was incredibly knowledgeable regarding the process of purchasing an income-restricted unit and was responsive throughout the entire process. From pre-approval to closing, everyone from Leader Bank was professional and responsive to all emails and the underwriters even called and spoke with the attorney to clarify a few things toward the end. Two days before closing, my wallet was stolen and I lost all forms of photo ID. Instead of delaying closing, the bank worked with me to close on the property on time. Jeff handled our mortgage from house search to closing. He patiently and rapidly answered all of our questions and offered much welcome guidance. Thanks to him, obtaining a mortgage was among the less stressful part of our home buying process.
