A few years ago we used Alspar Homes for an attic remodel at the recommendation of a neighbor who is a contractor and who used them for work in his own home.  We were so impressed by the work that they did that we didn’t even bother to get multiple estimates for our kitchen remodel.  Dan Albertelli is absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and use him again on any future projects.  He is extremely detail-oriented, honest, and great to work with.  The only deviations from the detailed schedules that he puts together have always been to accommodate last minute changes.  The quality of his work is superb.  For example, his carpentry is close to furniture-quality and he plans out everything to such precision as to get everything to be just perfect.  He’s great at problem-solving and coming up with creative solutions, but even better is that his planning is generally able to prevent issues from arising in the first place.  For example, we were raising the ceiling in the kitchen and he found some creative solutions to make it possible.  The city had us bring in a structural engineer to evaluate some options, but on further investigation himself Dan found things that the structural engineer had missed which would have been disastrous. Dan then developed and implemented a sound approach which didn’t have any of the structural issues. The subs that Dan uses (for electrical, plumbing, painting, and plastering) all do great work and have always been very clean and respectful.  He does a great job protecting areas not under construction to minimize dust and has always been extremely considerate of us and our neighbors.  Dan is also a great partner to work with on projects and is extremely responsive and has helped come up with some creative ideas.  The final end result is a beautiful kitchen that we absolutely love!
