Poseidon Moving & Storage

I requested services to move my studio apartment less than 2 miles down the street to my new house. Not only were the movers late, but they damaged multiple pieces of furniture and the ceilings of my new house in their haste. They complained to me that they had to take my headboard apart from the bed, that my couch was too heavy, and they stopped for drinks at a gas station between locations (while I am being charged by the hour and I was the first job of the day). They made holes in my furniture without my consent to try to fix their damages (the dresser is a total loss now), and they had to go to Home Depot mid-move to get tools, on top of using MY tools when I offered to save us time. When I contacted the company about the damages, I was given the run around for MONTHS before getting a measly $200, and never once would they even acknowledge the damaged ceilings, even after being sent photos and quotes I acquired from my landlord to quantify the damages. STAY AWAY.

Many things went wrong. The movers arrived after hours because the company had them driving too far that week. They created after hours noise and also a security issue propping the building doors open. Then they lost a box and the company will not take responsibility for it. I had empathy for the driver (the company pushed him to drive long and late) until he lied and said there was no missing box, after counting them with me and agreeing that there was a missing box. I don't recommend working with Poseidon.

We had a relatively complicated move - two locations for pickup (residence and storage) and then a local destination and long-distance destination. They provided a detailed quote and were way more responsive than other movers on the quote and had more flexibility on the pickup and delivery dates. The move itself was more complicated than we thought, but they kept to their fixed price quote for the long-distance move and ended up being very reasonable for the local move, too. The move went well - although there was an area of minor damage to one piece, I sent them the quote from the repair firm to fix it (~$150) and they went right ahead and refunded me that amount. Would definitely use as a first choice for any future moves.

The guys were efficient and very friendly. They took great care of my things, and we completed the move under the time that they estimated it would take. The price was VERY good, but that was partially because of the deal I had purchased. Not sure how the pricing is normally

They were great. We had a challenging move date that kept changing (8 times over 3 months) as we tried to close on the new house and they were willing to work with me and be flexible. They even allowed me to use the Angies List deal that I purchased even though by the time the move happened, it had expired. Day of - the guys were quick and professional and took great care of all my things.

The guys were punctual, efficient and friendly. It was a small move, but they handled it professionally and got everything done very quickly. I had purchases an Angie's List deal for a 3 hour move for $249. They didn't try to stretch extra money out of the move and they didn't nickel and dime me over moving supplies. I would highly recommend this company.

Fabulou service from Slava's! They arrived right on time at start of two hour window for arrival. Polite. They clearly described how they would manage move with elevator. They shrink wrapped the mattres and took apart the bed frame. It was a great experience.

These guys were great - they communicated well, worked hard, were extremely careful and attentive, and were very good-natured - what more could you ask for?? They were also very reasonably priced and one of the few places I found without a ridiculous surcharge for July 4 weekend.

This business is amazing. I will never move without movers again, and hopefully never without Poseidon Moving. Oleg was a pleasure to work with, and gave us a very accurate quote based on my list of furniture and belongings. They did need to call and reschedule the arrival time by 2 hours the week before, but it ended up working better for us that way anyway. The day of the move, the movers called to let us know their exact arrival time (which actually ended up being an hour earlier than planned). Because they were early I wasn't 100% ready but they were able to start moving the big pieces while we finished closing boxes. They were courteous and professional. They wrapped and taped all the furniture (no extra charge for those supplies) and carried everything down quickly and safely. The unloading went equally as smooth. The time spent came in at the lower end of the quote. After travel time, it took a little over 5 hours. We had a lot of furniture, a washer and dryer, and a lot of boxes. There were three movers. I have no idea how they did it so quickly, but I watched it happen. It was awesome. These guys really made a super stressful day go as smoothly as possible. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I cannot commend these guys enough. Superior experience. The guys were nearly fifteen minutes early and were very professional and polite. I also bought a  249,00$ deal for 3 hours and that was enough to pack up and move my entire studio apartment.They were very careful while handling my boxes and furniture. Could not be happier! Amazing again. Used these movers twice and they are reliable, reasonable pricing, efficient, and friendly. Would highly recommend using Poseidon for any type of move. They offer a discount if you pay with cash which is great as well. They communicate very well with you as well. Never had an issue reaching them or with scheduling. They also take into account any time restraints you may have (I needed to be done by a certain time and they made that happen with a little time to spare). Excellent experience again with them!

All of the movers from Poseidon moving were friendly, energetic, and punctual. The movers also seemed to be having a good time doing what they were doing. All I can really say is that we're going to need to move our home and our storage unit into another apartment pretty soon, and I plan to give Poseidon a call.

They're very easy to work with and we believe we got a very good rate from them compared to the competition.

I did quite a bit of research on this as this was sure to be an extremely long and traumatic day. It was long but not stressful in the least. To a man every one of the six young men that participated were competent and showed an enormous amount of professionalism. Just as importantly an obsession with our satisfaction. It worked, I cannot say enough good things about them.
We had tried them out ten days before by having them move belongings out of a rented storage area to our new home. Tony and Max were awesome and decided at that point to trust them with my wife and all our other "stuff".
They showed up at 10am with two trucks and we finished at 11pm that night after I bought them some pizza, God knows they deserved it. They even came back the next day because they had missed some things the night before, and without trying to charge me more money!
Even more unusual for a moving company. Oleg, the owner, came out to give me a quote for the second move and the final price was actually within 10% of what he quoted. Amazing!
These guys are the real deal, a young company committed to success through customer satisfaction and this is to be admired. Good surprises can happen when moving!

Oleg and his team were great to work with. They arrived on-time, were careful with our belongings and made our move easy. We had an unexpected challenge with removing a couch from our condo but Oleg and his team took the time necessary to try and solve the problem. I would certainly use them again.

It went great without any hidden charges. Poseidon moving has well mannered employes that will make your money worth.

It went great, so easy and stress-free. They were so careful with all of our stuff, not that we have many valuables as we're all recent college grads, but we appreciated the extra care they put in. We also liked that they didn't just throw our things around because we weren't big-paying customers, we felt very well taken care of. It took a little under what they had originally estimated, and we felt like they charged us the right amount for the work that they did, and they didn't throw in any surprise charges at the end. We definitely couldn't have done it without them!
